I really don't think any Cobblers fans want Cornell to fail, if he fails then, more than likely, the team fails and that's not what fans want. Some people find it hard that others have a different view to themselves and try to justify that by insisting that people have an agender.  I think the only agender that the vast majority on here have is that the Cobblers do well.

Am pretty sure you are correct regarding Fans view on Cornell. People are fully entitled to have an opinion on Cornell; as it is to challenge that opiinion. However some of the views made by some on Cornell are fairly vitriolic to put it mildly and it is those views that a few of us challenge. I have no problem with fair minded criticism of Cornell

I think his anticipation late 2nd half to clear a ball from an onrushing forward was top notch. How come that incident excapes your  attention?

Am not querying Patmores 7 - which on balance of play was probably fair. It is a pity that you and he ignore a very good piece of anticipation by Cornell.  Flipping heck' Cornell anticipation got him in well into no-mans land! There was no hesitation at all, which of course would have been fatal.

Your missing the point - how did Cornell warrant or justify 7 which is a decent score for a player not totally involved in the game? It's a bit banal just to say ' he did well'.

Certainly not picking a fight with you of all people. I merely asked a question how did Cornell warrant a 7? You declined to answer so that's it. Incidentally its about time you resumed conductor duties.
