The famous Sky Sources are reporting we are in talks to sign Karl Henry, formerly of Wolves etc. From memory he's a tough tacking central midfielder who'd certainly add some steel to the side.
Would be a bit worried this would limit McWilliams and Williams chances in midfield personally.
Thoughts?

Sounds like he could do the job that JJ used to do.

He's 36 this month, and I cannot really see him being anything other than a temporary solution to our current shortage of players, due to injury and suspensions.
His career stats for discipline are, apparently, 82 yellows and 5 reds. Lets hope he does not meet Mr Brakespear in the near future.

As the team have started play under KC, cant really see the reason in bringing in a 36 year old. Hes not had a club since June for a reason.

Exactly what we need. Experience and leadership in the middle of the park. Was a huge fan of his when I used to watch Wolves in the prem - expect him to be a class above league 2.

I suppose it's important to get someone in who you know and trust, but you would have thought the supply would be a priority
I always like a decent hard centre mid though so it's a yes from me

We're restricted to out of contract players til January so seems a very decent short term addition...
Experienced & real fighter by all accounts which is exactly what's needed for this league.
With several players injured and nearing suspension with accrued bookings makes perfect sense if it happens.

'If Wayne Rooney had been in England's World Cup team, they probably would have made the final'.
That, my friends, is funny.

As a matter of interest can said Player sign for us now and be available for selection; are players without a Club still subject FA rules and have to wait until Jan '19? ps Sorry Memoryman missed yr post!
