I think that NTFC territory village, rumoured to be very close to where Boudicca met her end (against Roma Ultras) is Paulerspury! Old Stratford Cobbler will confirm! Spot on as ever, Mr. C. Cat!!!

You both maybe wrong you have to remember the position of the 3 legions at time of rebellion. Also where Boudicca’s return point from St Albans and vitally the roads in existence at the time! For some time the battle site was thought to be near Mancetter then/or High Cross at intersection on A5/FosseWay. The latest thinking is now Dunstable where the A5 hits a gorge which opens up to a plain as you travel North. All you have to do is read Tacitus account of the battle (Wiki!!) the pointers from above plus some Heavy reading in JRS! Pretty sure Coolie can up with an informed but educated guess.

Mancetter near Atherstone...used to live near there. Never saw or heard owt! Actually, that area is spot on to where Henry Tudor camped the night, before watching and letting everyone help him defeat Richard III at Bosworth. More likely nearer Dunstable than Mancetter in reference to Boudicca I'd have thought, given she was travelling up from the Colchester area with her large but rag-tag brigade. She's rumoured to be buried under St Pancras station - makes sense, as you can get London Midland direct to Dunstable from there!

According to his Facebook account he is not into pre cooked meals. Sounds if he is under the thumb.

Probably near Lincoln!! Wonder if KH follows this thread?😀

If that was my missus, she would be nagging me to get out, and find a job. And I would have to do my own meals, pre cooked or not.

Bare with me on this, some claim the battle site was at Upper Stow. This would mean the terrain of the land there with the dual hills contributed to the defeat of Britain at that time. Fast forward 2000 years and the Watson Wilkins team proved the concept of radar on the very same fields, thus the same terrain contributed considerably to saving the Allies and Britain in WW2. Some coincidence that would be, hope it turns out to be true? Anyway, better get back to the football or I’ll get shouted at again, has he signed yet?

Hanslope church and its magnificent spire (close to the geographical area in question) served as a beacon for the Luftwaffe in WW2. Haven't got a clue who the fcuk Karl Henry is or his relevance! Heinkel III pilot or one of Boudicca's daughters?
