Williams is scoring goals. Should be kept on.
He’s on a good run of form and like quite a few others I wouldn’t be openly looking to offload him, but it’s still only 4 goals in 21 games so unlike Pierre, Crooks & Van Veen I think he is replaceable

i would not give him a penny to spend on players - do your job and get the best out of what we have left - reduce the wage bill - gives some of our youth teamers the chance
Afterall how long is KC going to be here?

I admire your sentiment but that’s never going to happen - going by what the Carlisle fans are saying he likes a turnover of players and one of the reasons he left them was that they wouldn’t provide him with the funds he wanted to strengthen (quite where the money is going to come from with us is anyone’s guess).

I like how Curle keeps mentioning Bowditch in interviews . Just in case any other managers are listening in time for January I suspect ..... How MK Dons must have laughed when we took him on .

He did OK at Stevenage when on loan last season didn't he? Limited appearances but two goals in five games.

No idea . What I do know is that he has done nothing / zilch / nana for Northampton Town and he can go back to Stevenage whenever he likes

Interesting KT says he is looking to balance the books and refers to the big earners . I think decent offers will see players leave in the window a bit more readily than in the summer . We will not go up this season and so budgets will be cut .

Again if that’s the case I hope Curle is on board with it - I wouldn’t have thought he’d be massively pleased with losing crooks or Van Veen in the window or that he took the job on the understanding that the budget was going to be slashed in January.

it's all guess work, but moving on 4 or 5 of the higher earners will probably still enable him to bring in 4 or 5 that he wants, improve the squad and slash the budget all at the same time, especially if he can off load some of the lesser earners who are bench warming as well.

I would like it if we can keep Crooks and Van Veen, but think we may lose at least one of them, as regards the other high earners I wouldn't be to bothered at losing any of them as long as some of the money freed up can be used to bring players in.

Oh and like in the 60s and in Calderwood and Carrs eras as manager when the club gets promoted it cannot hack it at a higher level.

Chill mate, I was only going by what happened to him in his last post at Carlisle - by the sounds of it he was constantly at odds with their board over funds for players. Time will tell I guess.

Not quite, the old times were slightly better! Pre '85 when the main stand in Abington Avenue had seats and the CG had 17,500 capacity, it was actually fun to go to a home game... Yeah, the rest is the same shit and has been for decades. Sometimes I wish I could shake off this terrible affliction and improve my Sunday morning mood. I tried moving to the other side of the world but alas it still hurts, only class A drugs and lots of alcohol seem to ease the pain, luckily here both are plentiful and inexpensive.
