Green and white time.
Crooks back in for a crocked Bowditch otherwise the same. Easy trip down to Yeovil, open to the elements behind the goal but weather looks dry and warmer at 12-15 degrees. Shorts ahoy.

Undecided on travelling to this. Can Actually get to Yeovil by train for me with one change at Basingstoke. Downsides, over three hours, Yeovil is a pretty s***e place...and the game could be off! Good to see Crooks back in the frame. Bowditch?

It's chucked it down all day today, similar forecast 2mow, they are in an awful run. Hopes it's not abandoned as should be a straight forward 3 points with crooks back.

It wasn't so long ago that I was praising Yeovil for the start they had made to the season, soon after results started going against them which prompted them to reward the manager with a new contract and now they look to be heading for a 17th place finish.
It's why we love the game, it can all change so quickly and a team with confidence can look like a bunch of strangers within a fortnight.

Yes by all accounts started the season really well - However have a very small squad with lots of loanees and have had a number of pretty bad injuries. That said it was a very odd decision to give the manager a new contract immediately following their FA cup defeat and ever since have not won a game with a few hammerings along the way. The natives down here in Somerset are restless with the way they have gone about things. Hopefully an early goal and they will collapse on Saturday. Weather has been drier the last couple of days, but more heavy forecast today and tomorrow may leave it in the balance?

Was hoping Boot and Shoe would be all over this thread giving us a view on the upcoming game with only under two days till kick off. Bowditch update for any that missed it..He had breathing problems against Stevenage so had to come off but has since made a full recovery.

Pretty please can we have Crooks in the starting line up today, despite Bowditch's good game last week.
Interesting to see if Ash did pick up some kind of knock, because he was having a decent game.
Never can tell what Mysterious Curle will come up with though.

I believe that Ash Taylor's withdrawal was for 'injury protection', he may start again if he hasn't had a further reaction?

Okay, seemed a mad decision as he looked in great form and wasn't making the same hoofballs/mistakes as so far this season. We fell apart defensively after he went off in my opinion, Odoffin/Hoskins/Facey on the right side did not work. Hope he returns to the side today then.

G.amble to start him today or was last weeks decision justified? Agreed about our right hand side last week. We'll see today. Bright sunshine today, a bit different to last week.

Quite pleased with the lineup although I still think that Van Veen is much more effective as a number 10 - when he leads the line he never really looks happy, I think he prefers to pick the ball up deep or drift about and run at people.
