For any travelling and stopping off in Stroud (Trust coaches?) the Ale House in the centre will be open. Used to be the Town Hall building, now brilliant large architecturally grand pub, serving around ten ales. Also the Village pub on Nailsworth High St is open as usual - also really decent! However, there are no buses operating in or around Stroud or Nailsworth on NY's day.

100 seats - sold out. 150 covered standing - sold out 500 open standing - tkts remain. Little chance of completely selling out, so will be able to pay on the day. However, with a price reduction on advanced purchase - why would you leave till the day?

Ta Mr Cat. Had previously been told that all tickets were sold when last at Sixfields for Stevenage home game! Erm, unknown variables between now and then Mr Cat, most notably NYE.

Anyone ever been there before? Any groundhoppers paid a visit?
Its my 88th current ground (of the 92) and my 141st overall so I just have to go!!
I hear the stories of lack of parking etc, but is it really that restrictive? The coach times were a bit early for me, and the price for myself and my three kids was a bit excessive....so I want to drive, but also have the option of trains to Stroud and a taxi in.

Went there for a cup game, a few years back. John Johnson scored a belter as I recall. The terrace is on the side, and exposed. Take a waterproof! With regard to the parking, it is limited, and our coach was turned away after dropping us off, and had to park elsewhere. Its the only time that after a game, we were directed back into a social club, told to have a drink, and wait for the coach. Which took about an hour. Its a very nice social club by the way. You could get a taxi, but be prepared to wait for a while, after the game. That could bugger up your train connections.

We played them there in the cup! Also been to Nailsworth for Shortwood Utd, who play up the hill, less than a mile from FGR...also in the cup - but OCFC on that occasion!😁

I would suggest that you park in the side streets on the way up the hill, and take a ten minute walk. Google Earth is showing a distinct lack of yellow lines. There is only one access road out of the ground, so it will get busy.

Have we sold our allocation or is it still worth travelling to pay on the gate?

Don't think there's any chance of us selling many more than half the 500 open terrace allocation. Think we'll have around 550-600 total. Even in the unlikely event of a complete sellout of the away allocation, not going to be a problem in the seated home main stand, nor home terrace come to that!

The away terrace can always squeeze just another one in.
