Has anyone got any idea why there have been a load of 12.30 & 5.30 kick offs today that are not TV games ?

Probably because the BBC can show highlights and goals as they happen when it's not a 3pm kick off.

Nothing to do yesterday so sat and watched Final Score. In spite of the "excitement" in the studio caused by the "magic of the FA Cup" and at such shocks as Ipswich losing again, I found that I actually wasn't remotely interested in someone's reserves playing someone else's reserved. The whole thing stretched over 4 days makes it even worse.

Congratulations to Oldham and Newport for their excellent wins in the FA Cup today. Flying the flag for League 2.
Good win for Barnet at Sheffield United also.

Didnt want to start a new thread, and will need to shower after posting this but... Ashley Young tweeted "Gutted" last night and lots of 'fans' critisising Ferguson and P*sh for not playing his son for the last few minutes and claiming he wanted it to be all about him. For me shows how removed from reality people are who 'support' premier league teams. Ferguson IMO did 100% the right thing. At 1-0 they were still in it and used the subs to try to get back in the game. I'm sure if they were 4-0 down he might have bought the kid on but it was a competitive game and I wouldn't have blamed even if that situation if he didn't. I think the only minutes he has played this season is in the pointless cup and it was a gesture to even have him on the bench. Im glad they didnt bow to idiots who wanted a headline, and I'm sure Young even agrees. (although I did like the comments about Fergie only being famous because of his dad). https://x.com/youngy18/status/1877619094255448509

Plus he'd used his five subs at one down, with ten+ minutes (including added) to go and Young the younger is a defensive midfielder when he would've wanted a goal?

I'm glad he didn't being him on just so they could play together all the abuse he is getting on social media is uncalled for.
Appearances should be earned not just given away

I watched the Man City v Salford game yesterday and was loving those Man City goals going in, it's just a shame they didn't get 10. I bloody hate Salford as you can guess. They kept on about SC having 5500 fans there, yet than can only muster about 2500 for home matches including away fans, so I reckon about 3000 of those 5500 must have been Man U fans. I hope they enjoyed the game.

A nice little 10-1 landed with the Tamworth/Spurs draw. No I didn’t.

My thoughts exactly, unfortunately they are doing well in the League under the cross eyed scouser.

I went to the Liverpool v Accrington game, 4700 Stanley fans there, the magic of the cup is still alive for the little teams!

It really has been the dullest Third Round that I can remember. Obviously it helps if NTFC are involved (dreams eh?). But where were the shocks? Where were the emerging personalities?

I like many on here struggle to identify Brentford as a big club, same with Bournemouth and Fulham. Over the years from you first start following football you kind of have a feeling from where a club should be. Brentford, Fulham and Bournemouth all around about the old Division 3 for me. Us? Division 4
