It was always City's strength in depth that enabled them to stay at the top of the Premier League and win a variety of cups along the way. The vast amount of money available to all clubs has meant others have caught up with them.
I can't think of any other competition in any sport where there are so many with a chance of winning. There are 1.87 billion followers worldwide, so let's all enjoy what is a golden era for English football.

I got to know a few Palace lads, whilst I was working down that way. We got on well, at the end of the day we were similar, in as much as we followed our respective (not very succesful) local teams. No airs and graces. Apart from the time when Adam Smith gave a masterclass in "airflaps" against the Mancs. They didnt let me forget that for a while.
The Pembroke in Coulsdon must be buzzing at the moment, and well done lads, im pleased for you. Its only a few stops down to Gatwick, dont forget those passports.
