Let's face it ....with the Cobblers track record ; I'd be more worried if Carlisle had lost their last 6 or so games.

We will win this !

Totally agree. They've won 6 in a row; we've not won in 6.
Nailed on home win. Place your bets before the bookies realise we always end runs like that at Sixfields.

This side lacks pace though to service the front players .
I would go

                       Cornell

           Pierre.  Taylor.    Turnbull

Odoffin.                                       Cox

                 McWilliams.   Facey

                         Crooks

                  Williams.   Morias

Facey playing centre midfield instead of Foley.... genius

So what are the current odds on win for the Cobbs?

He couldn’t be any worse in midfield than he is in defence....could he? I don’t really see the logic in Facey taking the place of Foley who must be pretty high up in the poty standings (admittedly not a particular achievement given this shower of sh**) or Jay Williams who looks very promising but it’s all about opinions. I agree with Dan’s post - there is little to no chance of any of us accurately guessing the starting lineup on Saturday as it seems like selection by tombola these days.

Are you serious? Facey shouldn’t be anywhere near the team let alone midfield

I think that Facey would be best utilised at RWB right now.

I don’t know what odoffin has done wrong - I thought he had a good game (against Swindon?) before he was subbed off and ever since has been in the cold,

Could be in for a turgid game I think, won't be much or many goals in it.

The key to getting at us is to get in behind our back 4, But we are very good on the counter attack so I can't see you lot over committing, a game of both sides cancelling each other out could be on the cards.

We've lost Nadesan this week who will be a huge loss! We'll likely set up 443

We have an annoying habit of getting caught out on the counter particularly from our own corners for some reason so you will probably get joy from that. I’m also concerned by the set piece quality of devitt which is proven at this level. I’m just praying that Andy Williams shakes off whatever knock he’s picked up as the prospect of Morias ploughing a lone furrow or Hoskins alongside him fills me with dread.

Grin We have nothing player wise to get round the back of your back four we are hopeless against counterattacking football.we have this really annoying corner routine, where 2 players stand by the corner flag whilst deciding what, the either , make the wrong decision or hit the first man wheras one of them would be far better defending the inevitable counter by you
