I agree Facey is poor currently

No worries B&S at least it drew a few comments

This will be an ace game, full of players putting themselves in the shop window.

Carlisle players hoping to get picked up by Curley Cobblers.

Cobblers players hoping to get picked-up by League 1 teams.

Which means, the Cobblers will have players playing for themselves and their move away, and not the shirt.  So, the Cobblers will have lots of individual skills on display & no team effort.  Which means plenty of ****-ups.  Of course, our usual d1ck-heads will blame that on the usual suspects, whilst applauding the glory-seekers.

(In the days when I played at a reasonable level, I just wished for the show-boaters to get a move.... but, they never did.  I wonder why?)

Whereas Carlisle players will be trying to show Curley-Cobblers how they are "team-players", and worthy of joining his new-Curleys - especially if they get a couple of hundred a week more......

Fascinating stuff.

Hopefully, our supporters will recognise the beauty of the game.... as football metamorphosises into cricket..... that 3/4/5 days of neutral stuff, waiting for the last few minutes to break the opposition down.

Predictions:
Score 3-5
Curle to leave after the game by mutual consent, in order to take over at Luton.
Cobblers intended signings from Carlisle don't happen.
Austin returns as interim manager.
Fire sale of high-wage players begins
Panic signings of random players begins
Kasim resigns on 3K per week.

Carlisle arrive at Sixfields having won 7 away games in the league this season, when we have won 6 in total home and away.

Curle took Carlisle as far as he could!!

Funny old game!

7-6 to Cobblers!

Christ knows who’ll play tomorrow now - I guess the likes of Hoskins, Powell and Bowditch will get their millionth chance to “impress”. It’s ironic given the run of home draws that I’d snatch your hand off for one tomorrow.

How about looking forward to seeing Cameron McWilliams, Jay Williams and Morgan Roberts in the match day squad?

That would be the only ray of light I can think of but do you honestly think that KC is suddenly going to promote Roberts over the likes of Powell, bridge, Hoskins and Bowditch? Likewise do you see cam McWilliams getting in ahead of odoffin or Facey? I know you think many of us are being melodramatic but we’re all entitled to our views and we can’t all be the zany, thick skinned character that you obviously are.

Yes, by all means. Everyone is entitled to their view but then I am entitled to put my foot on the ball in the centre circle and play a neat pass out to the left wing. I try to do this with a little humor rather than malice  Smiley

With the departure of Van Veen, Crooks and Waters, what will be the line-up tomorrow? My guess:

                Cornell

Facey    Taylor   Pierre    Cox

               Turnbull

 Bowditch  McWilliams   Foley

          Williams  Morias

SUBS: Coddington, Buchanan, Odoffin, Powell, Bridge, J.Williams, Hoskins

So no McWilliams snr (even if he is still only a kid himself really)?

My preference would be for Turnbull to drop back into the three, with J Williams as the holding man with S McWilliams on the right side of the midfield pair.

The elder is still Injured I hear. Hope this is wrong and he would come in to the team ahead of his brother, Bowditch could then have a week off.

Absolutely no creativity available at all for tomorrow’s game .
How are we going to break them down ?
I would try Hoskins behind the front two which is his best position .
