Derby County midfielder Timi Max Elsnik has joined Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town on loan.

The 20-year-old has linked up with the Cobblers in a loan deal until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

Elsnik has already spent time on loan in Sky Bet League Two this season, having featured for Mansfield Town in the first half of the season.

He made 24 appearances for the Stags, scoring four goals, before returning to Pride Park last week.

Last season, the midfielder scored five goals in 25 appearances for Swindon Town in the same division.

The Slovenian youth international has made three first-team appearances for the Rams, all coming off the bench in the EFL Cup.

Derby County would like to wish Timi every success during his time with Northampton.
