will get a more detailed message out to everyone. But quickly thanks for my birthday wishes. Thanks for the memories thanks for making one of your own. I have made some life long friends! I represented our club with everything I had. Love you all cobblers #endofanera 😢⚽️
Will miss you fella, but thought we were talking about Buchs? Hallam Cobbler was never so endearing and emotional about leaving a forum!

The last of the class of 16 gone, shame but I think it's time. Massive thanks to both Buchs and JJ .

I would have kept Foley, albeit on reduced terms.
He hasn't pulled up any trees, and is getting on a bit but he does bring much-needed experience, industry and reliability.
It's very tempting to have a root and branch clear out after several years of under-achievement. However, history has shown that it's a good idea to have some semblance of continuity from one season to the next. Starting with an entirely new squad is never a good idea.

He is the only one you could argue, but total clear out is the way to go for me

The departure of so many experienced pros makes it even more imperative that we keep Pierre IMO.

Don't think he ever played, terrible decision to give him another contract.

Just in 42 games that season

Hoping Hoskins gets a new deal and we extend Cornells contract instead of cashing in on him.
All that have gone so far I have to agree with. We need to make room for some of our talented youngsters.

In which case, he would have most likely refused your offer!

So there you have it.....
Foley, Bowditch, Bridge, Buchanan, Coddington, Goff, Facey and Iaciofano out of contract and gone
Taylor, Waters and Bunney still in contract but available
Powell the only one offered a new deal, O'Toole has an option to stay.
Cornell, McWilliams, Hoskins, Morais, Pierre, Turnbull and Williams all under contract.
Interestingly Curle says that some of those under contract for next season might decide their futures lie elsewhere too following conversations held today.......so out of those last 7 listed above....who could he be referring to??

As expected really, apart from Foley in my eyes. Hopefully of those under contract he is not referring to Morias, I really think if fully fit for a whole season he can bang the goals in for us.
