how do you know he hasnt been already? and turned it down?

I don't but the meetings with players are next Monday. Unless an exception has been made in his case you would assume he hasn't been offered anything.

If that’s the case it makes you wonder why he hasn’t been given a runout in one of the dead rubbers.

Exactly, once we were safe, surely then he should have been between the sticks to see what he's made of...

They don’t even get Bank Holiday off?

season after. What are the chances we sell Cornell and install Coddington as No.1?
With De Gea looking increasingly shaky, could be Man U showing an interest ?

Just the following 6 weeks if signed for next season. If not, as long as they want.

Just a quick note on Buchs and JJOT .
The Saints today presented awards to the likes of Burrell and Pisi in front of the crowd after the game .
It was a nice gesture and the football club should take note of how to treat loyal players .
You can’t teach class and it would have been nice for everyone to thank two great players at some point if they are not going to be here next season

Nothing against either of them, they’ve both been good servants, but particularly in jjot’s case that would be a mistake.

If so I would be fairly sure the terms offered would be less than previously by some way.

I'm still hoping that Curle tells them all to fu*k off tomorrow. So obvious that the average Foley and Turns up for final five weeks of his Contract Powell are both going to be offered deals.

“Average” Foley has been one of the better players this season. Calm on the ball, keeps possession well and we look more balanced with him in the team so would like to see him offered another deal. We are Northampton in league 2...we aren’t going to attract Messi and Ronaldo.

I agree, Foley’s form has dipped recently but he’s still more than decent, it just depends if he’s offered anything acceptable, I suspect that he might have other offers. With Powell it depends on our budget and if we can bring anything better in, perhaps the penny’s dropped with him and he fits into Curle’s system/way of playing? If we can re-sign him on reduced terms he might be a useful, versatile option?

Surely a lot depends on KC’s desire and ability to get rid of contracted players. Assuming we are still 1 or 2 players over budget, if Buchanan and Facey are released they will require direct replacements at full back, leaving JJOT, Bowditch, Foley & Powell as senior pros out of contract, keeping any of them gives you very little room to bring in new players.

With 5 loan players going back to their own clubs, several out of contract players not being offered new terms and probably a few who are still contracted for next season being put on the transfer list I think we have plenty of options for new players. I can see at least 10 replacements needed.

Cryptic tweet from Luke Coddington saying "What can you do without a chance?". Ash Taylor has also retweeted it.

I wouldn’t exactly say it’s cryptic, it’s pretty self explanatory.

Become worthy of a chance. Maybe at a new club next year, good luck to him where ever he goes.

Several managers have seen him in training for the last couple of years and decided not to play him, I’m happy to leave it at that - having said that knowing our luck he’ll go on to play for his country!
