Didn't get to the game yesterday, man flu, so can only comment on what i heard on the radio. Sounded like we set out not to lose , so we achieved that. A return of 4 points from 2 tricky away games has pretty much seen us playing league 2 football again next season. For the people who went, if their guy hadn't had been sent off, could you have seen us getting back into it, as we sounded ultra cautious against 10?

Thought we battled well, JJ had a good game as did the ever reliable Turnbull. I personally think Cornell should have done better with their goal, hit from the edge of the 18 yard box straight down the middle of the goal. We seem to let the opposition run at us without challenge and then have a shot! no wonder Cornell goes nuts at the defence and midfield. I fully expect Notts County to escape the drop, they signed some good players in the window, we need 4 more wins ASAP.

What a strange club Lincoln are, probably summed up by the one who posted on here. A couple of posts were quite sensible, like you could be chatting to an away fan in a bar, and then he posts some utter cr*p about NTFC stealing £10M from the council and we were the 2nd worst team to play them after drawing the game, hope them grapes are not too sour!. Lincoln have really got all the locals "on board" so the club must be doing some things right but, as KC pointed out, their management are really aggressive with trying to intimidate the officials and, as well as some decent fans, I still think they have more than their fair share of tw*ts

The goal was struck into the corner - stop inventing faults to suit your prejudices

Hit from the middle of the goal, just inside the penalty area, and through a defensive challenge (albeit a weak one) & went across the line a couple of feet inside the post.
Sorry, but I just can't see that as being a goalkeeping error at all?
Credit to their guy for the strike I reckon. Wouldn't mind him in our side at all.

Happy to take 4 points from two very tough away games after the debacle of the last home game.
50 points should be ample to ensure survival which at the end of the day was KC's remit upon appointment.

Not having been tainted by yesterday's performance, thanks to the weather, I am looking forward to going to both Tranmere and Lincoln and coming back with at least two if not four points...

That’s away fans for you Rog, they’re spiteful and not to be trusted. Keep away from them and play with your old friends.

I’ve seen the highlights and I was also there - right behind the action . It was hit into the corner and no one that’s no one blamed the keeper .

A chimpanzee will never stay seated at a piano long enough to play some Mozart. You are thinking of Gary Barlow.

I also commented on JJOT and Turnbull doing well, along with Pierre and a few others. Taylor just seemed to be in ref's ear - even after decisions had gone our way! Take the point about bravery etc, but somewhat disagree. The ten men thing, as we fully know, brings little benefit to the opposing team more often than not. I thought we took it to them well in the second half, winning second balls and winning back possession, which took 'bravery'! Yes, sat back in final few minutes as a flurry of penalty shouts came from the Self-e titled, crowd and management, though do still maintain respect for DC...the Lincoln one!

Correct, it was hit from the middle of the goal but went into the corner. Just watched it again, in case I was going mad, and I would say that only absolutely top level keepers would have had a chance of saving it.
