I've never listened to any podcast at all but saw this latest one on Twitter and Iove a quiz, especially a football quiz and even more so a Cobblers quiz, so decided to enter the new world of podcasts and loved what I heard. Due to time restrictions I only got into round two but will crack on with the rest tomorrow. I scored 6/10 in round one which is more than the guys in the studio, which is nice. Some challenging, really thought-out and varied questions. Will report back my round-by-round scores.

Thanks Wadey!

Really pleased you're enjoying the quiz (and the podcast). Please do keep us informed as to your scores.

Can anyone beat Wadey's 6/10 in round 1?

I think I must have peeked too soon. I ended up with 28/50, although that would have put me second with the Podcast crew. Toughest round was the Where did we sign them from? I only got 2 correct.
On the promotions round I got number ten correct, however delving deeper into it and consulting the record books it is factually incorrect. I won't give the answer away on here but if you can take a look yourselves you'll see what I mean.
But a brilliant quiz which gives a chance for reminiscing and learning more about the club we love.

Listened for the first time today and enjoyed the interview with Gareth Willsher.

Will try the quiz at some point, had an issue with the Tom Cliffe interview restarting after about five mins on Google Podcasts, not sure if that's happened to anyone else?

Hi St Eds,

There was an issue with a lot of podcasts doing that but it should be resolved now. You may need to delete your cache and cookies from your phone first though.
It will also be up on our website at some point over the next week or so.

Glad you enjoyed Gareth's episode. Thanks for listening!

🚨#MyIconicNTFCXI🚨

Last week the club challenged their followers on Twitter to produce an iconic Cobblers team made up of their favourite players throughout the years.

With very little creativity, this week's podcast showcases our iconic squads.

Who makes our team? Martin Smith? Ricky Holmes? Bayo? Richard Hope!?!

💦🎢Not Just Another Water Park Idea🎢💦

We've tried our best to keep away from water parks so far during this lockdown period.
How would you finish the season AND still enable fans to watch the action? I bet your idea isn't as stupid as ours!
Also on this week's episode we dip into the postbag to hear your most and least liked football grounds. There are some great suggestions!

Part 2 of Charles's chat with Martin Smith for this week's Memory Lane is OUT NOW 🎙️

This time Smudger talks about how he thought you could stop Ronaldo playing by just hacking him down, only to discover that you can't get close enough to him to do that! We also discuss those 2 play-off semi final defeats and finally achieving promotion in his final year at Sixfields.

We hope you enjoy this episode of Memory Lane.

We all remember the Sammos, Bayos and Richard Hopes but what about the forgotten players of Cobblers teams of the past?

In this week's episode we're taking a look back at some of the less familiar names to wear the claret and white.

Players like Toni Silva who went to South Africa after his spell at Sixfields and didn't like his manager.

How about Leon McSweeney? The former left back, who was part of Wilder's great escape team has his own blog about football.

Or Lee Crooks? The Man City youth product who made 3 appearances for the Cobblers during a 1 month loan spell, who is now a Gunner in the RAF.

Massive thanks to our newest Patreon supporter Brian Wills.

It's Tuesday and that means IACTM is here with a brand new episode.

Joining us this week to talk injuries, not getting paid, team spirit and flip flop Thursdays is RICKY HOLMES!

Ricky talks about his time at Northampton Town Football Club, Charlton and Sheffield United, the amazing team spirit in that League 2 Champions team and possible retirement.

We had a great time chatting to Ricky and he answered all of our questions honestly.

If you sent us a question, we asked it and Ricky answered.

- Favourite goal
- Preferred hair products
- Would Ricky beat Nicky Adams in the boxing ring?

All answered in this special episode of It's All Cobblers To Me.

This week's episode of Memory Lane is with former Chronicle & Echo Cobblers reporter, Steve Walsh.

From watching games in the North Stand to reporting on NTFC from the Press Box, boy does Steve have some stories to tell!

From calling Eoin Jess ‘Owen’ to getting Guy Branston fined by the FA and being told Chris Dunn wanted to punch him, Steve's time reporting on the Cobblers was full of funny anecdotes.

Just finished listening to the Ricky Holmes interview. He's just as entertaining in an interview as he was on the pitch. Speaks really well, doesn't hold his punches and is very funny. Well worth an hour of any Cobbers' fan's time.
