Well well, who’d have thought Hoskins up front on his own at home to Crawley wouldn’t work. That was turgid - the only difference from the Colchester game is that they’re nowhere near as good as they were. We’re getting nothing from Elsnik, Powell or bridge - why we’ve brought Elsnik and Powell in when they’re no better than what we’ve already got is baffling.

Dire game so far.
One positive is that Goode seems to be pretty decent at RB.
Not many others I can think of to be fair, Lino looks like he should have retired five seasons ago and the ref is usualL2 standard.
Game needs something, maybe fireworks or a light show.

Keith Curle out he should be embarrassed by that team selection and tactics at home. The bloke hasn't got a clue.If he is in charge next year I won't be renewing my season ticket. What was he thinking with the tactics and team selection.

That was dull dull dull. Defensively solid but zero creativity or attacking flair and no strikers until the last 5 minutes. All so predictable when the team was announced. I wish I’d stayed at home and cut the lawn.

I wouldn’t mind so much if you could see curle’s philosophy or long term plan. He kept saying that we lacked quality in the final third but the reason for that is that he played Hoskins on his own up front and the attacking 3 midfielders provided nothing all game and despite the options on the bench (even bowditch would have been worth a try) he didn’t make a tactical change until the 82nd minute. The only difference between this and the Col U game was that Crawley had nothing except for Palmer (having said that if they had chosen different options on a few counter attacks it could have been worse).

I have to say that was one of the worst games of 'football' I have ever seen and I've seen a lot. The ball was almost constantly in the air from both sides, neither side could pass the ball, neither side could control the ball, in fact neither side could do anything. If it were possible to do so then neither side should be awarded a point. It was total drivel. Hoskins up front on his own - ridiculous, bring the young lad Roberts on in such a physical game - equally ridiculous. One day he might be a good player but today was not the day to play him. As for bringing Williams and Morais on right at the end of the game, it just beggars belief. Pete Walton (whoever he is) seems to think we are going forward but since the Carlisle game we have gone backwards - at least at home anyway - and he seemed more than happy with a point at home against Crawley. Well I wasn't.
Plus points.........er er er , Goode played well and that's about it.
One thing that always baffles me is why do Radio Numpty ask for peoples comments and then proceed to not read them out, they used to read out loads once and now I never hear one., and please don't tell me nobody text's in.
Sorry about the rant, most unusual for me, but that was just unacceptable.

We were arguably worse than we were against Colchester, the big difference was that Crawley were as bad as we were. How does hoof ball work when we have the shortest striker in the league ( I use the word striker very loosely and in a sort of comic way with regards to Hoskins), the ball must have been in the air for most of the game which both teams were guilty of. We were clueless and our passing was abysmal, why does Cornell insist on holding on to the ball forever and very rarely releases it quickly. Why make 2 subs with so little time left, am starting to question Curle’s modus operandi and his curious riddles.
