Agreed Goode is looking very solid indeed.
Their goal was another Ash Taylor mistake, although apart from that he played OK.
Exeter were v poor, no way are they going anywhere, took off their best player Nicky Law and faded badly.
You did well to spot that - were you in the away end?
Defence again played well as a unit with JJOT showing distinct flashes of his former self. Surprised that only 4500+ home fans turned up especially after the last 2/3 away games! Still it was cold and an early KO.
Its a pity that we could not add to the 2 we scored; never felt we were in any real danger even in the last ten minutes. Some strange Referee decisions notwithstanding missing their goal keeper fracas! Midfield looked solid if a little unspectacular at times. Turnbull when he pressed forward looked good. Don't disagree with Taylor being MOM - thought he played well. As for the forwards for me still undecided on Soufle but Andy Williams added some need urgency up front and took his goal well. Simple 3 points really; they played some good stuff where it did not matter but in any case they did not have the forwards to do much damage!
Score line should have been at least 3-1 so they got away with it.
