Slagging off our style in a way that doesn't come across as bitter...….

Style what Style? Grimsby weren’t any better and he fails to criticise them too much? The whole report was a bitter sweet comments, whether against our players, the wind etc. I found it a repetitive report reduced to mentioning by ‘brand’ scrap paper unfortunate to be identified. If Grimsby had won you can imagine his justifications for a well deserved victory Roll Eyes

Relax, it was a humorous report written in the style of Stuart Hall which isn't to be taken seriously...

Its a good job an empty paper bag didn't blow across the pitch...you'd have started an argument with it!!!

FFS Evers....... our style as in long ball, hoof, long throw. That was our style, much as it irks you that someone else says it! We certainly didn't "play the conditions"....how many goal kicks sailed out of play....versus how many goal kicks were taken quickly and short?

Grimsby didn't win though did they...and yes, they were even more toothless than us. But i'd expect them to be worse, seeing as they were 16th in the table on the back of a three game losing run.

For me, it was one of the worst games i'd ever had the misfortune to watch live.....and there have been thousands of games I've seen over the years.

It doesn't really matter who was "least worse".....as I said in my original post...an awful game between two poor teams playing in poor conditions.... neither one had the nous to adopt a plan B.

Just my opinion mind.....I am entitled to it...aren't I?  Wink

What makes that a good read? Or in the case of Feelgood  ‘ Great Report’ ?
The same as when you label somebody's post as being 'great' simply because it's roughly what you agree with
