The problem is, hence my previous, albeit rather subtle post. Read the last few posts... typically reads as I am a die-hard, therefore I buy a ST. If not buying one it is down to utter suicidal tendency frustration with the Cobblers...or you just don't go at all attitude!
I haven't had a ST for the last three seasons. Nevertheless, doesn't stop me from going most home and away...as I have done (eight years aside when living abroad) since the Eighties!

I don't buy a season ticket just to be able to say "I'm a die hard". I get one because I like where I sit Upper West, good view not far from the singers and I like the people around me. Also, it's a lot less hassle than buying tickets individually week in week out. One purchase and its done.

I'm able to get the same seat or next to, virtually every game. Also West Upper singing section - well next to! This isn't a case of putting an argument for not buying a ST, but it really isn't so difficult calling the ticket office - they even recognise me 'I'll name that voice in three Des' as well as usually ordering an away ticket. Collect from portakabin - never need to queue more than seconds. Added benefit, I don't have to shell out lump sum in advance...and even better, don't have to go every s***e game!

That sounds like an awful lot of work to me.. I didn't have a season ticket for years. I was lucky that my work used to purchase tickets for me at the time. Some of the most ardent and loyal supporters I know don't bother with a season ticket.

I prefer buying in one lump sum. When we have back to back home games it feels free rather than shelling out £44. Having a ST does sometimes force you to go, however there's nowhere else I'd rather be at 2.55pm on Saturday when the players walk out to a crescendo of noise and Liquidator is playing and you're thinking that this could be the day where it all goes right!

Correct - what amazes me is the financial gain you get by having a ST as opposed to paying out £18/22 for home games. I didn't get a ST this year due to a hip op but have regretted that decision.

Yes can understand, I'd regret getting a hip operation if being perfectly honest! Still, think of the money saved not having to watch dross at Sixfields!
