You mean the rate of increase in Government Borrowing is in decline (which was part of all 3 main party's Manifestos policy commitments in 2010). Total Borrowing is still on the increase. The Employment statistics have been manipulated for generations and need further analytical detail - numbers no longer recorded and so forth........The rate of inflation is relatively low in absolute historical terms but interest rates are still being kept artificially low.
Yeah, yeah OK. Point is, things could be a lot, lot worse. Why risk it when the results of getting it wrong could be terrible. I understand many of the leaver's points, but am just very cautious.

Giving this thread a bit of thought - then it is possible that BoN may have a point. After the Referendum there was arise in anti-social behaviour particularly against Muslims. However that has not as yet gathered any meaningful momentum. The one positive factor emerging from this disharmony is that the young under 17's appear far more tolerant of the Ethnic Society than earlier generations. In the 1st WW anybody with a German name often came under attack, even internment.
Interesting that you attribute 'the rise in anti social behaviour against Muslims' to Brexit and not as a reaction to the various terrorists outrages in this country and continental Europe at about the same time.

Brexit = another way where the elite will get richer and the poor poorer. All they needed to do was convince enough of the gullible poor it would be a good thing. It was easy in the end. It was never about borders, race, blue passports or freedom to travel, it is about money and how they will extract it from you. The few control the many. Divide and conquer, "the policy of maintaining control over one's subordinates or opponents by encouraging dissent between them, thereby preventing them from uniting in opposition". It's been done before and will be done again.

...agreed, it cracks me up when folks call it a "people's revolution" - do they really think the likes of Rees Mogg, Farage, Johnson or Dyson give a s***e about the average man in the street. It's sadly the same the world over and if not political scams like Brexit the other time proven & very effective method of control is of course called religion!

Of course not all leavers are racists, some are morons (bananas), some were just gullible (take back control, as if) and others were just protecting naked self-interest. Dyson took action against EU energy regulations, the millionaires worried about the EU coming for their tax havens, and Tory politicians positioning themselves for the next leadership race.
The truth is the referendum was only ever called by the Tories to lance the boil of UKIP and it spectacularly backfired. Most sensible people were just not that interested in Europe despite the daily rhetoric spewed out by Dacre's Daily Mail. And now Pandora's box has been opened and all the nasty racists, xenophobes and little Englanders have been let out it is going to be hard to contain. I would expect further instances of racism to occur in football unfortunately.

Is this a 'see how many cliche ridden soundbites you can get into one paragraph' competition?

NOW that's something you don't see very much on here Its not as it happens - actually I cannot equate your position on the Trust to some of your comments on here! You seem to lack any form of lateral thinking and above all common sense..

As I've stated numerous times, I post on here personally NOT as a Trust member, being a Trust member doesn't disqualify you from having an opinion of your own.

I like lateral thinking! Here's one; A man is at work. Feeling tired, he turns off the light, falls asleep, and when he wakes up, looks out of the window and sees a lot of dead bodies. Where is he? Evers gets first shout! * * This has nowt to do with racism, BREXIT or the Cobblers!
