Of course not all leavers are racists, some are morons (bananas), some were just gullible (take back control, as if) and others were just protecting naked self-interest. Dyson took action against EU energy regulations, the millionaires worried about the EU coming for their tax havens, and Tory politicians positioning themselves for the next leadership race.

The truth is the referendum was only ever called by the Tories to lance the boil of UKIP and it spectacularly backfired. Most sensible people were just not that interested in Europe despite the daily rhetoric spewed out by Dacre's Daily Mail. And now Pandora's box has been opened and all the nasty racists, xenophobes and little Englanders have been let out it is going to be hard to contain. I would expect further instances of racism to occur in football unfortunately.

Interesting comment on Rees-Mogg in the Old Etonian ; he played football for Eton v Harrow in the 70's as a centre half and scored the equalizer. I like Rees-Mogg he is intelligent, quick witted and stands up to thugs and Bullies a la TV video at a Uni debate! Not so sure about Boris tho'.

What you fail to mention is that at the age of 12 he stood up and criticised the payouts made out in a share holders of which his father was a chairman of! I like polticians who do do this especially at the age of 12! Labour or otherwise  Roll Eyes

Before the referendum I posted on FB - not many voters know too much about the EU but, if Borris Johnson, Putin and Trump are all infavour of us leaving then 'Remain' has to be the way to vote.

Is this a 'see how many cliche ridden soundbites you can get into one paragraph' competition?

Call it what you want. Still right though isn't it!  Wink

Indeed. I always liked Johnson when he was mayor although I never fell for the buffoon act; he's a very clever man and I kind of admired how he cultivated that persona. I did always view him as relatively harmless though. I think he's shown his true self just lately though and it isn't a pretty sight.

Ron what I like is the way you Guys ignore the 17.2 million who voted for Brexit. They are dismissed as Morons or worse on here with some fairly dismissive opinions opined. If there is to be a debate on Brexit then some of the far out comments by some on here need to be more intelligible and not riddled by cliche ridden sound bites. Surprised at you Ron falling for the kind of comments on here.

Of course it isn't 'FACT' at all, it is your opinion.
Personally, I would be happy for any of the players to leave including the so-called class-acts as they are all a part of this wretched group. With regards to the goalie, I believe we have been spoilt in recent years by goalies who have been well above average. Cornell is average, the team as a whole are exceedingly poor.

My opinion isn't swayed by anyone on here, I'm surprised at you for even thinking that was a possibility. I am able to make my own mind up. The 17.2 million didn't vote for the balls up on offer I'm quite sure of that.

Perhaps they thought Cameron and Osbourne would have a go. You have to give that pair of slimy snakes some credence though in knowing what was to come and slithering off at the earliest opportunity.

This has nothing to do with the unnecessary and unfortunate incident the thread was started about. It has become a medium for something totally unrelated..
