To be fair we still had a chance of the playoffs before Cheltenham.....now we're on a 5 game winless streak, going neither up or down.....games are almost meaningless, so why not give it a bit of meaning by blooding youngsters to see if they can hack it.......if you can't do it when the team is in this position when can you do it?
I can remember on many occasions being around  the bottom of the league hoping our rivals wont get an advantage of playing weakened mid table sides.
Notts Yeovil etc would be questioning our integrity should we roll over for a rival with a team full of kids. 😂

Good post TP. Lets face with a lot of them on here KC can't win. IE Play youngsters we lose they moan (shouldn't have played them in that match)
Absolutely. Heard some of the comments at Cambridge. Given our position, winning isn't as important as giving these players experience which will pay off in the future.

I think you want a balance however. Now point throwing kids to the lions if the team is weakened enough that we just get steamrolled by much more physical league 2 teams, you do need to protect them a little bit. Having one or two play a game is enough until you get to pre-season.

Indeed.....I wasn’t advocating playing the U18 team in a senior game, but the odd one or two dropped in to the setup now would be such a bad thing.

On recent showing it could well enhance the performance .

Yes. Needs to be a mix.

Welcome back George Cox....Pollock keeps his place, and Bridge reappears on the bench.

No place in the 18 for Ash Taylor again, nor Jon-Joe this time. Morais gets a start, and Sordell is nowhere.

Looks a very lightweight side in midfield and attack. A lot of players who can be very anonymous at times.

With a full squad to choose from apparently, the following players therefore don't make the 18.....(not including the players out on loan)

James Goff, Ryan Hughes, Jay Williams, Ash Taylor, Camron McWilliams, Shaun McWilliams, John-Joe O'Toole, Jack Newell, Morgan Roberts, Marvin Sordell.

A win for Macc today is huge. Yeovil are losing and they just 2 points ahead of County.
