Its hard to defend the club/KC from a distance, BUT we don't know what the in's and out's are. At the end of the day, Morais may have a trial lined up or something, and if KC wants him gone then that may help the cause. Just as an example.
I like Morais. But an issue I think is fair to mention, is that with him you've got to play a very certain way. Almost like you've got to build your attack round him. He's not a target man, he's not the nippy strike partner associated with a Forester/Howard type traditional forward line. He's not great with his back to goal. His main attribute is his ability to finish which is 2nd to none at this level, but as far as fitting into a team/style of play, its more difficult.
I've little doubt if he left, he'd bang 20 goals for another team in this division, assuming he stayed fit. But would that be to the detriment to that team as a whole? Think about how you'd utilise him if you were the manager, I have and I honestly cant come up with an answer!
Maybe he doesnt like flying, who was it that was defending players privacy with regard to injury/illness a while back? Maybe he doesn't have a passport like that other fella we had recently?
I'd say he can play very well with his back to goal provided it comes into feet, I'd have hated to play against him as a central defender, and as you say, he can score a goal.
However, he probably just doesnt figure in KC plans now that he's got two Smith Oliver and Williams in the squad.
