Jabo Ibehre triggered a contract extension earlier in the season, and will be under contract for the 2019/20 season.

Nice to see KC isn’t afraid to dip into the non-league market as it’s something I feel we haven’t done enough of in recent times. Impressive goal tally albeit in a couple divisions lower, let’s hope the lad can carry the form up with him.

Just out of interest does anyone know the rules on when you can approach/talk to a player that you know is still under contract but that contract runs out in the summer? It sounds like KC has had several meetings with Warburton but wouldn’t he still have been under contract?

The irony is that he usually does well against us so let’s hope that doesn’t continue - it also probably answers why KC was unable to get him in January? Looking at the Carlisle retained list from yesterday, Ritchie bennett has been released - 6ft 4 forward who KC paid quite a bit of money for when he was manager there, doesn’t score many but did well on loan at morecambe.

I wouldn't say 'the most' but he was up there...

Adam Smith was great during our promotion season but after the ManU game he lost his shine.

That signing would sell a sh1t load of season tickets even if he only plays a handful of games.

I'd take an injury prone Holmes over any of our current wingers. Even if he played 1/4 of the games that would still be more of a contribution than Powell over the past two years.

Not normally one for bringing back former players but would make an exception this time. We desperatly lack quality throughout the squad and it's something he would provide.
