I’d love to see us sign Sessi D’Almeida from Yeovil - only 23, out of contract there and bossed the centre of midfield in the game against us towards the end of this season
Was anyone else impressed by him?
Here you are ' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sessi_D%27Almeida' Seems to have had 12 month stints at EFL Clubs and is moved on!

KC confirmed this morning we've missed out on two targets... Various reasons, one being some players stipulate they must have certain amount of game time (no matter if their form drops!)

Good to hear that KC is sticking to his guns on what he believes a player is worth, and not being bullied into those dreaded "we promise to play you" type conversations. Mentions that Powell has a time frame to sign the deal offered as well, he is still within this but no info on to how long he has to do so.

Curle seems to be sticking to his guns when it comes to transfers - music to my ears. Do any of us really want players who are guaranteed to play even if their form have dropped off a cliff. I personally hope Powell signs the new deal - what’s everyone else’s opinion on this?

I'd take Powell if he agrees to the reduced terms offered...frustrating player but much more effective then Bowditch imo..
Not really fussed if he declines offer though...

On the fence. Has ability, rarely looks like he can be bothered to use it. Saying that, had a good run and some goals in the last few games when played upfront, would not be adverse to him being kept on as an impact sub/cover if he doesn't cost the earth.

There's a real feel at some of the statements coming out of the club that a signing may be imminent.

Hmm. Is that a clue? Could we be signing someone from Real Madrid? My money's on Gareth Bale. He's no Van Veen but it's good to have bodies around the place and he'd provide good competition to keep Sammy Hoskins on his toes.

As long as he knows he's not guaranteed game time.

"Sir" Sammy Hoskins, if you don't mind …. let's see Bale replicate Sammy's looping backheel at Tranmere !!

Hence why he'd only be here as backup.

Given the tone, I wouldn't be surprised if something happens tomorrow. Purely conjecture on my part.
