Couple of good shouts but Targett makes more sense than Devitt.

I just plucked that out of mid air based on ntfclad’s original “clue”!

Targett was in and around Southampton's first team last season and has 2 or 3 years left on his contract. I can't see that one having any legs, even as a loan.

I was just about to post the same - very highly rated by Fulham after a loan last year and Southampton still rate him - but he kind of fits the “intention” clue 😁

So does Hope and Bent. Trouble is, you can make numerous players fit such an ambiguous clue, if that is what it is.

Perhaps instead of focusing on the word "intention" we should focus on "imagine". Therefore we must be signing Aaron Lennon from Burnley, formerly of Tottenham and Everton. He must be looking for another big club to end his career.

I suppose with our budget there’s going to have to be a bit of filler here and there.
That’s a fair comment . We can only judge the signings once the squad is complete . Hopefully Watson can reproduce what he did the first time around

I think Harry smith at 6ft 5 probably qualifies as our target man.

Please not Bayo
A player who has got two teams out of league 2 in recent years, who was nominated as player of the year the season before last and a has been offered a new contract by a league 1 team, I think it’s more a case of he could do better than Northampton.

Not sure about Watson . Especially on a two year when he has pretty much failed elsewhere . Let’s see if Curle can get more out of him . First dodgy signing in my view
We don’t have a good record signing Mk Dons rejects! Powell, Bowditch & Revell spring to mind in recent times.

Emmmm I kind of agree, Watson has made only a handful of starts in the last couple of years and most off the bench

He was good enough for Wilder to sign him twice, and I'll stick my neck out and say that guy knows a bit more than most on here about judging player ability and character. Let's give him a go shall we? I liked him last time so fingers crossed KC can help him fulfill his potential.
I like that we're signing a mixture of the experienced tried and tested, along with younger seemingly well researched but more of a punt type players.
Guess just the 1 today then...
