He was good enough for Wilder to sign him twice, and I'll stick my neck out and say that guy knows a bit more than most on here about judging player ability and character. Let's give him a go shall we? I liked him last time so fingers crossed KC can help him fulfill his potential.
I like that we're signing a mixture of the experienced tried and tested, along with younger seemingly well researched but more of a punt type players.
Guess just the 1 today then...
just seen the scout video on ntfc web page looks a bit like Hoskins on the finishing side of things but looks like he can put a good ball in from set pieces

It would be Goode intention of we signed a young defender tomorrow, especially if he was made out of iron

Arnaud Mendy? I mean, that would be very left-field if true.

Journeyman GK from League 1 - mostly played in Non-League? Sounds like a no.2 to me.

Cornell will be the number one goalkeeping choice next season . Lots of people predicted he would be the first player replaced in the January window . They were wrong . He won’t be replaced in the close season window either .

It will be Curle's first major error if he isn't. Personally I don't think any of the players who played last season will have secure starting places, Curle has made this clear enough. I don't see why Cornell would be immune from this line of thinking.

Wiki says he is a midfielder with Whitehawk; about his 100th Club!

I think Monkey is referring to Steve Arnold who was at Shrewsbury last season. If this rumour is true of course.

Doubt it is him though. He signed a 2 year contract in 2018, unless he's been made available for transfer.

Plus he played 23 games last season for them. Cant see him coming here to sit on the bench

I think the clue might be that despite us having Lewis Ward on loan from Reading, plus Coddington and Goff on the books, none of those three dislodged Cornell from between the sticks. This to me shows that Cornell is rated/preferred by Curle. Ward went back early and both Coddington and Goff have been released....the only one left is...…!! Curles squad strengthening priorities lie elsewhere.

And you have an obsessive fixation with defending Cornell from posters who don't rate him. Cornell certainly divides opinion on here but those who think we can and should do a lot better than him are pretty numerous on here, perhaps even more so than those such as yourself who think he is a good choice as our number 1. My opinion on him is that he is a solid number 2 for this level. As to my having an obsession with Cornell this is simply not true as I have been equally vocal about other players who I have believed have not been good enough, most notably Taylor, Buchanan and Hoskins. I have also stated that I think that very few of the players from last seasons squad will be guaranteed a starting place. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if no more than 3-4 players - at most - from last season will make the starting XI at any one time next season, so it's hardly like I'm singling Cornell out for possibly being only a bench warmer next season.
