It all seems a bit boring today ......
Any 2pm announcements ?

All the business will be done and everyone will be bored come august and be moaning about the lack of signings  Grin Grin

I can't believe how good the business we have done is, without touching the loan market.

I have no issue with using the loan market, I'm excited by the fact there is still room to do so and that if we do it will only be to supplement and already strong squad.

The way we are going, we might attract the attention of the FIFA FFP investigators?

Out of our recruits, I'd have thought that McCormack, Lines, and Adams would have been on competitive wages to get them (and arguably no more than O'Toole or Buchanan would have been on). With the money from KVV and Crooks being sold on, I'd be surprised if we're getting close to danger for it. Also, unlike the Premiership, 'Turnover' can include gifts from the owners and injections of equity (but not loans from the Directors), so it's pretty easy to get around (hence Crawley, Fleetwood, Salford now I'd assume), so wages would have to be astronomical to cause a problem with FFP.

Probably be more concerned about the sustainability of the spending going forward.

Interesting to see that we paid money to Shrewsbury for the new keeper, albeit only 5K allegedly. Weren't Shrewsbury the club whose manager was reported as having made a bid for Aaron Pierre? If this was the case why didn't they negotiate an exchange deal with extra cash coming our way.
