Walsall fans were almost equally divided on whether Kieran Morris should be kept or let go. As Manwork says he joined Tranmere on loan in January and started all 3 of their play off games before being subbed after 60 -70 minutes. However, he still scored more goals from midfield for Walsall than any other player last season.
It appears that he was not doing as well under manager Keats (now sacked) as under previous manger Smith.Likely to score an absolute screamer from outside the box or clear the stand, this could be said of many division 2 players.
Some comments on Walsall forum similar to those on our forum regarding Daniel Powell but many thought he could still do a job in division 2.

If you haven’t performed in division 1 , it’s unlikely you will pull up any trees in division 2 either .
Wide players are notoriously inconsistent though and so anyone that’s any good will be snapped up by bigger clubs .
The lad we had on loan from Forest I thought was ok

It’s quite telling that despite bringing him in on loan and playing him in all of their playoff games, Tranmere don’t seem bothered about signing him permanently.
