Why are we looking at Robbie Simpson when two goal scorers in Morias and Waters are sidelined ? We have one proven goal scorer at this level in our squad and that is Williams. We need players that can find the net not journeymen link players .

Last season Morias scored six goals, one every 108th minute on the pitch .... And now on the transfer list.

This is crazy, Morias is a proven goal scorer at this level and as said before he gives us a different approach up front.
I have a feeling Curle we live to regret this decision.

Sorry to be pedandic but his record at this level is 6 goals in 46 games, and 10 goals in 45 games in League One. Not sure he's a "proven goal scorer at this level". That said, would rather have him than a 34 year old Robbie Simpson.

Emmmm he scored 6 goals in 12 games of which only 7 he started.

6 in 19 last season

Can't deny his goals to minutes ratio is good but I certainly wouldn't call him proven. Definitely has potential and, like you, would like him to stay.

Absolutely mate think it’s a big mistake to let him go, Waters can go.

KC recent signings have generally been welcomed, so I suggest we wait and see what his remaining 3 or 4 acquisitions are before making a overall decision!

Yes we do need more pace going forward!

Would also flag up that he only started 19 for P*sh, scoring seven in those games. Not bad after the jump from non-league. Substitute appearances skew the stats. Agree with you that he's not exactly proven, but there's bags of potential there.

I am not Morias’ greatest fan and he certainly isn’t a proven goalscorer but he has a better record at this level than anyone we have signed so far or are trialling .
The problem is that he has spoken out against KC and black balled .

The problem is that we have reached the point in the transfer window when the likelihood is that players tracked and desired are now settled-in. The signings we make now are either loans (currently surplus to the needs of the parent club or unwanted) or dregs. Just look at the current trialists.

There you go again - all ok until the final sentence which is presented as fact! Most of us don’t know why Morias is on the transfer list. So all opinion on Morias is entirely subjective. It suits your agenda to promote your anti KC theme.

Smiley

Worth adding (Everbrite) - Junior has liked many a tweet in recent times that have been, shall we say 'a bit anti KC when it comes to his inclusion/non-inclusion'.

I suspect that decisions have been made, and he's off at any point soon. Thats been clear since the early part of the year. Personally, I think a team needs to set itself up old school, 4-4-2 to get the best out of Morais - he kind of doesn't fit into a front 3/number 10/ type formation/s that KC seems to favour.

Also, when we have gone 4-4-2, he prefers for us to lump it up to two big men, again Morais doesn't suit his footballing agenda in any way.

Finally, he's probably an expensive luxury to have as an impact player, sat on the bench most of the time.

We need 2 central defenders at at least one striker if Morias is off.

Two central defenders are a must , especially if we are playing 3 at the back.
Williams , Turnbull , Goode and Hughes is nowhere near strong enough. I hope KC isn’t relying on part time central defenders like Bunney and McCormack to fill in . It never works.
If Bunney stays , our left side cover / option is okayish .
If Morias goes we seriously need a proper striker that isn’t a linkman and every club in the country is looking for one of those , so good luck with that .

Agreed but you need more than one natural goal scorer/ striker in a squad for the season .
