I predict Morias and Waters will head out to fellow league two clubs in the next week or two for nominal undisclosed fees and then we'll blow a good chunk of the Pierre money on a forward that Curle likes. Most likely Hallam Hope.

Not in the know one jot but that seems the likely course of events. Whether it pays off we will see!

I predict neither of them will be sold or loaned and a good pumping by Walsall.
Curle has lost the plot.

Did you miss the news that we signed a decent centre half about 3 hours ago?

KC implied there will be no more signings in his latest interview .
I assume that’s the case even if Morias and Waters go .
I had heard and predicted it would be a squad of 18 plus the lads that came through from the youth . This would make those numbers correct if the two players left .
Also , is Hoskins ahead of Williams to partner Smith currently ? I would say in Curle’s head he is .

If we are to play a 4-2-3-1 and Smith is the lone striker it makes sense to play Hoskins ahead of Williams

Except :
1 I think we will play 3 at the back and not 4.
2. If we do play the formation above without Williams , there is no proven goal scorer in that team

When playing a back 5 in preseason KC has tended to play Williams & Smith together., but I really hope we go back 4 as we always play better and get better results than with 5 but it seems KC is too pig headed to abandon his favoured back 5.
I’ve got a feeling Smith with have a good goal scoring season

This seems to contradict the current transfer strategy - I thougt it was clear that the Club would only sign players on one in and one out basis.
So are B&S comments correct or an misinterpretation?

He has already contradicted himself by signing a player without one going out .
It is my guess that the club are waiting for a fee for Waters and Morias . I suspect they could easily loan them out or let them go for nothing . On this basis , we bought Wharton in .
I am happy to be proved wrong if that isn’t the case .

really - it reads like he wants more players in before the season starts!?

hoskins isnt a striking option i dont think - so he is behind williams i would think.

who knows what goes on in KC's head though

He was sitting in row P or Q about seat number 145! Looked very fit to me. Watched whole game.

Your answer is on the Chron Web site  27th July "It seems 12 new players is not enough for Cobblers manager Keith Curle who's still seeking further reinforcements in the remaining month of the transfer window.. Bit speculative from you?

In the interview last night he said “ you are always looking to improve the squad “ but didn’t give a definite answer as to whether any more would come in .
Of course it’s speculative from me but I think he may well stick with 20 minus the two plus the youngsters
