This lad was absolutely class when he was at Luton a few years ago, My luton supporting mate had a bee in his bonnet about him not signing permanently after the loan.

the 'good' defensive signing at 11:30 then???
What do you reckon, he was the one of the two I’d heard of at least

https://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/sport/football/call-to-curle-pays-dividends-for-harriman-as-he-earns-himself-a-cobblers-contract-1-9059606Bit of a strange one........it was actually the player who called Curle and asked for a favour, to train and keep fit. I'm assuming too that what changed on Monday (mentioned in this report) was that Bunney moved on and freed up a bit of wage budget in order for us to offer Harriman a short-term (4 month) contract and presumably bring in Egil Kaja on a similar short term contract too. Whilst I welcome the two new players, and I also welcome short term contracts for unproven players, my concern is that despite the high earners being moved on, and despite a couple of players actually being sold for cash we seem to be operating so close to the bone financially when it comes to the current playing squad.

Oh yes, I'm not saying its true, I made it clear that "I was assuming" and that those were "my concerns" The timing could all be coincidental! My point was based on the fact that Curle was pointing to non-contract players before the deadline, the fact that Bunneys contract was terminated, Harriman said that something changed on Monday, and the fact that we bought in two out of contract players soon afterwards. Justme putting two and two and two and two together.......and making.......?

Correct....a budget which, whilst still competitive, is around 25-30% down on last year. Austerity....Cobblers style! Not that it’s wrong...we can’t go on losing £2.5m a year after all...

Don't want to start a new thread for one question:
Does anyone know what happened to our new academy coach/manager who was joining from a championship club?
I might have missed but can't remember seeing anything announced
