Don't want to start a new thread for one question:

Does anyone know what happened to our new academy coach/manager who was joining from a championship club?

I might have missed but can't remember seeing anything announced

Isn’t that David Kelly who came in from Forest?

I thought he was development coach to support players like Pollock, J Williams in first team.

Kieran Scarff was academy manager but left to join the scum

It's a bit odd, as I'd consider him to be, much like Hoskins, capable or even decent on this level, but certainly not a top performer who would be pushing to move further up the football ladder.

That said, we sold Chris Dunn to a team higher as well, and he was a worse keeper.

He’s been alright so far but I’d still be delighted to get any cash for him. As said though by CID, that website is not a reliable source.

He has gradually improved and is now decent but everyone has their price. I think Arnold was signed to cover for this scenario.

Did anyone else see the group of first team players heading to their seats at yesterday's game? The group included McCormack, Hall-Johnson and Smith but there was also a player I didn't recognize, maybe another trialist? He did look similar to Curtis Yebli who we had on trial during the summer. Did anyone else notice the same and shed any light on this.

Also another trialist, Robbie Simpson, is now plying is trade with National league South side Chelmsford City.

Cornell is our most valuable player.
He and Goode are number 1 and 2 on the team sheet .
I don’t understand why supporters don’t get behind him and I think he will be the next player to go for decent money , sorry I mean an undisclosed fee to pay off investor debt .

As far as I can see supporters have always been well behind him at games, which is what counts. My opinion of him doesn't mean I don't applaud when he makes a good save or hope that he plays badly. In recent games he's been better, partly because he's had relatively little to do, but what he has had to do he has done well.

I'm not sure how you can say he's number 1 or 2 on the team sheet though, considering he was dropped in the second match and only got back in due to an injury to Arnold. Adams, Turnbull, Watson, Williams and Goode are all a lot more important to the team and I fancy that McCormack, Lines, Wharton, Harriman, Oliver and based on their recent performances also McWilliams and Hoskins will prove to be a lot more important as the season progresses than Cornell.

To repeat , Cornell is arguably our most saleable player currently and one of the first on the team sheet.

'To repeat'? ffs.

Well, 'to repeat', Cornell was dropped in the second game for the new 'keeper and it is debatable whether he would even be in the side now if Arnold hadn't got injured. Cornell is the most replaceable player of the team that's played since Arnold's injury and I doubt there's more than a couple of first team 'keepers in this division who are worse than him.

Cornell is the clubs most saleable player? Arf!
