Yeovil are fighting for their lives but I have very good feeling about this one. They have 2 wins in 17.. Prediction: 2-0 Cobbs Pierre and Willo.
|
For goodness sake Doc we are NOT going down you heard it here 1st (I damn well hope that does not come back to haunt me)

Apparently their starting XI on Monday were all under 23!

I reckon JJOT plays Saturday for 65/70 mins then leaves the pitch waving goodbye in front of a standing ovation

Don't see KC as the sentimental type though.

If we can keep D'Almeida quiet we have a good chance, T James and B Mugabi are very good players at this level but they are both error prone and take risks with forward runs often leading to some of their other players being caught out of position when trying to cover their errors.
They will be fighting for their lives and we will catch them on the break, 4-2 for me.

We could send them down on Satdee. They're not a club I'd miss if they did drop, same with Macc. Always got a non-league feel about them although they did grace the Championship for a season not so long ago, something that we can only dream of. They don't get great support so doubt they'll sell out the South Stand despite the importance of the match. Would like to see a start for Jay Williams and us to attack them with Morias starting up top.

The big question here is - will he give JJOT and possibly Buchs a final hurrah in front of the home supporters ? Being sentimental , I hope so although I personally think Buchs will be offered a one year extension

Interesting with Yeovil regarding support. Typical example of big(ish) fish in a small pond in non-league days, as with Macc and Morecambe to an extent during the Eighties and Nineties. Remember when we lost at (then non-league) Yeovil around 99 time, talking to some of their fans giving it the complete large about how great their support was, taking 'hundreds' to the replay at Blyth Spartans (iirc) Now all three are more than attributed with having shockingly poor support, home and away!

Don't think Buchs will be offered anything... If KC is going to play proper wing backs then what would be the point? We've also got to try and offload "homesick" Bunney (hopefully Rochdale will take him back)

This is a real test for the hardcore supporter today, like bloody November out there, nothing to play for either.

It might end up being the Jimmys End beer festival by half time.

I’d be interested to hear the rationale behind giving joe Powell a start unless we are seriously looking to sign him in the summer, but if that was the case then how come he hasn’t had a look in during his loan? 🤔

I would agree its puzzling, the more so he's been shut out for so long, .because he's one of the best players in the squad imo.
