'He's One of Our Own' ( The story of Chris Wilder's Blades revolution) is a great read with obviously a lot of Northampton photos of that day - now gone down in Blades' folklore, and references!

Just finishing it at such a perfect time!

Agree and its great to hear a manager with the same accent as the supporters. I wonder how many other managers are 'home grown'?
I can only think of Lee Bowyer and Roy Hodgson, perhaps Justin Edinburgh and Mark Warburton but I'm sure there are a few more.
Bowyer is the only one I can think that was born in the area, played for the club and is now managing them, although Hodgson was at Crystal Palace as a youth. Although I can't imagine Roy actually playing football.
Ironically Dean Smith, Aston Villa manager, is from West Bromwich and James Shan, Baggies manager, is from Birmingham.

He won the LMA Manager of the Year award beating Pep, Klopp and Farke (Norwich). Fantastic achievement and glad he's got the recognition he deservers; would have been very easy to just give it to Pep.

Out of curiosity, how much did Sheff Utd spend versus the outlay of Norwich?

I would be a bit peeved if I were the Canaries manager right now!

dont know how much sheff Utd spent but it's not about how much you spend on a player or players Accrington Yeovil Crawley Stevenage and many more have done a better job with a smaller budget than us and we still seem to be going backwards but still wilder totally deserves it my eyes done the job with poxford, us and sheff utd with a little help from knill and with not even a look at the budget they have cant wait to see him in the pl next season I don't watch motd but I think I will next season
