He would have held it!

Yes would have played Arnold ! Probably would have saved the goal. Their goalie saved them. In Sheringham today drowning my sorrows!

Based on what?

Agree that their keeper kept them in it, but not sure how you can work out Arnold would have saved that unless you have seen him play a hell of a lot more than the rest of us.

Not a bad effort. Thought he'd plump for Arnold

It was a good prediction but sadly not a good team selection.
Hoskins shouldn’t start and there is no goal scoring  threat .

Arnold is 6 foot plus but see Norfolks explanation above.

Would have to watch the replay again as don't think the 6cm difference would have counted for much unless I have their heights wrong.

Can’t blame Cornell for once terrible marking.

Zonal marking will cost us 10 goals this season .
Saturday was the first .
The problem is we haven’t got a natural goalscorer at the other end either if Williams doesn’t play .
How long will it be before KC reverts to plan B ?

First of all it will only cost us 9 goals and secondly I have been told there is no plan B.

I have named my team elsewhere .
Williams plays with Smith
Adams at RWB
Three at the back , so Turnbull comes in .
Hoskins out .
Warburton or Pollock behind the front two with lines and McCormack behind them.
Morias and Bunney both on the bench .
That’s my team .

so you are opting for even less pace?! and our best creator playing further back and 2 ageing pros in the middle of the park with no legs around them?!

I think you will find Adams created more chances than any other player in the division at wing back last season.
Yep , if McCormack and Lines struggle in the middle together, bring on MacWilliams . Bunney or Roberts to come on if Martin doesn’t perform down the left.
Come in then clever clogs , put your team up that includes pace and let’s see where your holes are !

Think McCormack is going to be out for a fair few weeks now anyway so we won't get the chance to find out. Wasn't fit enough to play 60 minutes and got a recurring injury seconds before he was due to get subbed off... way to go.

He has been injured throughout pre season and then doesn’t make it through the first game .
There was a reason Luton released him .

Yep, desperately tried to convince myself otherwise but it’s all looking a bit ominous?

there isn't any pace in the team - or the squad really - which is the major problem.

i suppose the next best is players with "energy" but we dont have many of them, if any of them.

in short - 4-4-2 - 2 big men up tops - go long and go high.

having said that - we didnt have that much pace in wilders team - but we did have players who could carry the ball to get us up the pitch - holmes and adams - and now we just have adams...................holmes was obviously the matchwinner - of which we dont have one this time round.

Oh I see - so you pick apart a team put forward but have no answers yourself other than to put two big men up front or change the squad .
I think I will leave the discussion there .
