there isn't any pace in the team - or the squad really - which is the major problem.
i suppose the next best is players with "energy" but we dont have many of them, if any of them.
in short - 4-4-2 - 2 big men up tops - go long and go high.
Hoskins has plenty of energy ...I'll get my coat.

Can’t blame Cornell for once terrible marking.
Exactly.

The main problem with Cornell is that he does not command his box, and this was in evidence again on Saturday. He creates hesitancy in the back four, as they do not know what he is going to do ..... Not sure he does most of the time either. And yes, he exceeded expectation last season, but I would like to think that Arnold is a better option, otherwise why bring him in ... And from what I have heard Arnold acquitted himself well pre-season

Surely you are not suggesting that Cornell should have come out to claim the corner?

No, but in hindsight (marvellous thing) he should of stayed on his line - point being he doesn’t command his box as many observers have already made.

From what I saw during preseason, nothing has suggested that Arnold is any better than Cornell.
Anyone think otherwise? Would be interested to know what you saw that I may have missed.

No .... But how many times have we conceded from corners where Cornell is stuck in "no mans land"

McCormack looks like he will be injured for most of the season and Morias will be nowhere near our team I fear. And where is Hoskins

If he picks that team on Saturday I will personally go to work dressed as Clarence . I can’t see McCormack fit for a while .
