Madrid Cobbler

I should add that he also has good distribution for a goalkeeper and performs the sweeper keeper role well, both important skills in the modern game.

He’s a better sweeper than keeper unfortunately

Trouble is he’s not playing rugby looking for the touch line Seriously I lost count of the number of times he held on to the ball without distributing it. How many clean sheets did he keep last season or even more telling in his career?

And what makes you draw that conclusion, Einstein ? I might not always agree with Manwork04's views but he's clearly a committed Cobbler.

No he aint. He may well have questionable views, especially on the Ulster issue, but he is a genuine cobblers fan. He is also obnoxious with it. Hello Gupta.

There's no evidence you've been to a game and no-one knows you. You are either a persona or a troll.

Some fans are clearly just out to get him.
So why do you think that would that be then? Are you suggesting it is because of something other than his performances? I don’t remember numerous finger tip saves. At all. If he was making them regularly why would there be so many supporters who don’t rate him? He’s just not very good. I’ve lost count of the number of times last year when after an hour or so of the game, the opposition stats said 1 shot on target, 1 goal scored.

My view on Cornell last season was that he was ok.. Bang average .. Nothing more nothing less.. However it seemed to me that he had no serious competition take the position away from him, something that Curle has now resolved. Cant recall having seen Arnold play so no idea who is first choice, but hopefully both will kick on and prove to be an asset to the club.

I do. I refer you to my previous post. I stand corrected. I had no idea people with such far right and racist views still existed. "didums did the nasty man say a bad word". Yes.

It would help if you merely appreciated Madrid’s opinion. It’s a reasonable proposition to suggest that Cornell has made some good saves one being the finger tip save against Yeovil. You are of course entitled to your opinion but when it’s based on bigotry, ignorance and inflexible comments on a Cobblers player which are at odds with the more informed on here. I suspect you saw very few Cobblers games last season. How on earth you expect to form a balanced opinion on the few games you have seen is quite remarkable. Have you played in goal?
