It's going to be a bit of a yomp on a Tuesday night but I've never seen us at Swansea...

Good job it was regionalised to avoid a long journey.

OK, so my 'just for fun' draw put us at home to Birmingham City when we actually got Swansea City away. BUT, and no word of a lie, my fun draw did pit Wimbledon against MK Dons.  Made me smile when I saw that, so imagine my even greater surprise when the 'proper' draw pulled out that fixture anyway. Perhaps they deserve each other.

How would you do the draw then Wadey ?
For us and our central location a north/south regionalised format can be as bad as a completely open draw. Maybe go further and have a central, northern south-east, south-west split.

So play the same few teams every year ? Another sterilization of football.

Might struggle to get time off for this...clearly a stopover.

Have a completely open draw then. I'd rather see us at the likes of Forest, Derby or Sheffield Wednesday than have to go to South Wales because it's in our "region"

I agree, would much rather have an open draw. But what would you say if we got Swasea away in an open draw ?

As long as they didn't masquerade it as a 'regional' draw.
If I recall correctly, haven't we had Hartlepool in the North and Torquay in the South over the years during these 'regionalised' draws?
Swansea now is probably the furthest west we have been?

They were both in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy.

Aware, but they were also called 'regionalised'...

I took a good hiding in Swansea by the Jack Army walking past the prison after our FA Cup defeat there.
