The ones that angered me at the times, in no particular order...

1. Mark Bunn - 500k. I think we should have held out for more, kept him longer, paid him more etc. I believe Blackburn sold him on for 1 million, after he'd hardly played a game.
2. Bradley Johnson - 250k? Which was absolutely, utterly ridiculous!
3. Ivan Toney - 500k? Crazy. But I recall there being a big debate at the time, a lot of our fans didn't rate him much. Subjective one maybe.
4. Michael Jacobs - whatever it was, it was no where near enough. Proven as his career progressed.

Since KT has been here, the only one that miffed me was Ricky Holmes. I have never understood to this day why we sold him days after the season had finished rather than invite a dutch auction! There must have been something said/agreement in place/clause in his contract or something, guess we will never know.

I could go back further - Micky Bell, Steve Brown were both sold too cheap. Bobby Barnes and Tony Adcock!  Grin

Infact, when did we ever 'rob' a club? I cant recall it ever bloody happening!

Steve Howard... Bought from Hartlepool for £90k sold to Luton for £50k

They got their own back a bit when they sold us Paul Culpin a couple of years later?
I liked Culpin. Scored goals, drank beer. An old fashioned centre forward. One of my favourite goals was his volley against Fulham in 1988 past big Jim Stanard.

Signed from Cov from £50k, I can still see that volley.

I know these days pinning down exactly where and even what Coventry City is, can be a tad loose...but think Culpin (hence name being brought up ref Hill, Morley et-al) signed from Nuneaton Borough!

Signed for Coventry City from us?

Steve Massey a give away to Hull City - £20,000?

Did we get anything for Keith McPherson when he left us for Reading ? He was a fine defender and Reading were in the 2nd tier when he moved - went on to play 271 games for them over 9 years.

Why plural- I did put a ? It’s debatable if Bunn was worth the reported £500k received a decade ago especially when he has failed to make sufficient impact at a higher level. Not quite sure you wish to aim a ‘clever’ ego snipe when you have more important things to dwell on. It’s about time you understood that you have one opinion on Cornell and me another. Is it not time to accept other punters opinion as a mere expression of personal view point? In other words practice what you preach!

Considering that Bunn has managed to find a Premier or Championship club to employ him for the last 11 years, I would say he has made an impact, plus the fact that Blackburn sold him for more than they paid for him. I'm not quite sure where the "clever ego snipe" was in my post ?
I have ALWAYS accepted that others have different opinions and I accept them without calling them abusive, engenders or anything else.

PS. Apart from cutting my grass, what other "important things to dwell on" have I got to do, you've lost me on that one.

I thought I remember at the time, Reading paid around £70,000 for him...but not certain!

What happened to investing in redevelopment? Now you are advocating we invest in up and coming talent that we can sell on for a profit, or is it both? These profit margins and well wisher charitable donations you are funding this all out of are going to be huge? Either that or this is more sh1te, I’m going for the latter.

No £8m or £3m rated players at Six fields. What a shambles for a League Two club....I also notice the Justin fee was undisclosed. It's a blessing he didn't play for us, this board the two Facebook groups would be up in arms
