The club have stated that Junior and Billy are not part of the 22 travelling. 11 new signings 4 youth players stated as Hughes,Roberts,Pollock and J Williams. Cornell,S McWilliams,Hoskins,Turnbull,Bunney and A Williams. That’s only 21 players who else is going??

Jack Newell. They missed him off the list unless they're taking a trialist instead, which I doubt. See new thread Coventry in Spain with list of players.

As with Brad Lashley, left behind. Informed by group chat on Friday with no reason or explanation given. It's the KC way.
You have a strange way of airing your views to possible detriment of NTFC Staff. West explained in his interview after the Sileby game that because of numbers basically only two players per position. Taking 3 goalies is a bit OTT?

Are you saying Jack Newell has been left behind? In that case who is the 22nd player?

I agree entirely Evers, there seem to be a few people who want KC to fail for some reason.

I don't think he likes KC. It was Mathius who recently stated that Simon Tracey was leaving, but somebody said yesterday, after speaking to James Whiting that this was incorrect.

Maybe an injured player. A few of them have gone along.
What injured player? I've listed all the players on the Coventry thread who are going, it only leaves Lashley, C.McWilliams, Whaler, Morias and Waters plus Newell who are staying at home.

Goode and Pollock to name two.
As explained, I listed the players on another thread. I included Goode and Pollock on the list.

Did Goode get injured in his first training session or did he have it when we signed him?

I don't know if it's just down to cost, but if it is, surely you would pay that bit extra rather than de-motivate 2 players who you might need in the near future. If you are limited by numbers, I would have thought it would make sense to leave the injured players back at home.

I agree about leaving the injured players at home, but the 'injuries' are probably just niggles, hence the reason they are travelling. Also, I think both Waters and Morias are surplus to requirements and KC is giving them a nudge towards the exit door.

I'm sure cost is a factor and the fact we have a enough cover in certain positions. I was not happy with how JJOT and DB were treated towards the end of last season as their NTFC careers drew to a close. They deserved a lot better. The Club used to act with more class than that and show the necessary respect. The fact we no longer do this is down to the influence of the current manager.
You do have an axe to grind with KC don't you? Has he banned you from watching training sessions or something.

How do we know it’s down to KC? Maybe it’s a sign of a ‘no sentiment’ policy at the club these days - we all know the cliche that football is a business and maybe that room for public sentiment isn’t in the new approach It is nice to feel like a family club that welcomes back old players in the crowd and wishes success to our talent as we wave them off after being bought ‘on the cheap’ but where has that got us? Bouncing between the bottom 2 divisions for the last 50 odd years with too much of it spent at the very bottom If it is KC’s idea and it’s to install a focused drive of winning and producing winners and anyone who isn’t on board either shaping up or shipping out then good luck to him So far it looks like he is building his squad with players who have the mental attitude he is after to follow his plan just as other successful managers have in the past - and as unpopular as this may be - thank you to the board for supporting his recruitment drive

Yeah, you’ve said this (or variations of it) over and over again - I dread to think what it’s going to be like when we lose a game or two. By the way, what are you going to do this week with the squad out of the country, you’re not going to be able to let us all know every time KC shouts at someone and hurts their feelings?

Message to the OP, gosh for a minute I thought a player had actually gone missing, thank God that hasn't happened.
Next, isn't Keith Curle a terrible person for doing things his own way, if true that is.
Why should he Molly cuddle players from before he arrived, football is a revolving game and if those players had been so good then the job would never have become available for Keith to take on.
The manager needs to be a strong person, the players need to be strong individuals, they are just employees, the players are happy to use group chat but not when it's to announce something? shocking,
IMO we should not be flying off to Spain, we should be in the fields of Pattishall, training like men, doing weights and tug of war and eating worms and woodlice like Sean Dyche's Burnely.
