That will upset a few on here!

It's all to easy to blame keepers, good defenders inspire a goalkeepers confidence and contribute towards a keeper having nothing to do during a game.

When Cornell was getting criticism our whole team was playing crap, that is not the time to make a fair assessment on how good a goalie is.

Evers, you really need to try and understand that if someone posts "xxx was poor today" they are talking as they see it, and do not, necessarily, "have an agender". As you know, I'm not Cornells biggest fan, but I thought he was very good yesterday, see , no agender

Really fail to see where you are coming from; as I was not at the game am in no position to criticize/praise any player. Seems to me this is a retrospective comment; god forbid you have a hidden agenda on Cornell!

Cornell will and should start in my view .
Unlike others , I am concerned if we are thinking of playing Bunney in a defensive role. He will get found out .
I’m also concerned about our goal scoring threat because we have looked toothless in both the friendlies this week and Simpson will make zero difference to that . Morias meanwhile was with the kids at Kettering .

Cornell was very good yesterday. Arnold does not look a better option.

Bunney was very good yesterday.

The attackers were not. However the f***ers were up against a premiership team.

Bunney was one of the better players in Tuesday too.
I want him to stay but he will cost us as a defender.

Incorrect it was a LWB and there is a difference.
I think he should be playing in that role for us in competition with Martin.

I think Keith Curle might be using Bunney as CB to improve how he works with the rest of the defence when he plays LWB.

He is a fill in for missing defensive players ....I think!

Ahem. As quoted from the official NTFC website news story of us signing him from...

Bunney began his career as a striker, but was converted to a left back in September 2016 and has excelled in that position, attracting interest from Championship clubs and earning a reputation as a fine attacking full back who can create chances going forward.

And from Rochdale's official website...
Early last season he was moved from a forward position to play at left-back and Bunney did so well in the role that his contract with the club was extended until summer 2018.

Like I said, converted to LB.
Apologies gratefully appreciated.
