It was nice to be back watching football again, but as has been mentioned there were some really odd decisions in terms of positioning.

Nicky Adams played 72 minutes at RB last year, 3978 at RWB. He played 4113 minutes total in the league, not once did he feature at LWB, so it just seemed like an odd selection.

Likewise Bunney's best attributes quite clearly are going forward, he has good delivery on him. He did his best yesterday but again it seems like an odd fit.

McWilliams struggled positionally i thought, but then again playing against Forestieri and Harris would be a test for anyone.

We saw a lot of unusual tinkering last year, Hoskins at RWB, Waters there, Turnbull in midfield, Powell up front. It would just be nice to have players playing were they are best suited.

Outside of the negatives, I think Lines is going to be really good for us, clearly has a good range of passing and a calmness on the ball. Thought Jay Williams did ok also, hope he sees more game time this year.

We shouldnt expect to be getting a great result against a team of that cailbre, but I just hope we dont see unnecessary tinkering throughout the season. Also I think this side is crying out for some pace. I have not been Hoskins biggest fan in the past but i can see the merits of him just to provide an outlet. Other than the additional two CB's we need, I would like to see us get a pacy winger just to allow us to stretch teams.
