Really, 7.30pm in the evening ?  For the sake of £2.00 I would make up my mind and book early. Some people are funny about money;  can only assume you paid £14.00 and could not be ar$ed to book in advance.

Evers it's only £12 for season ticket holders. If you're not a season ticket holder you should be paying £14, unless you pay less for a concession?

Well I've been ripped off then! Pre-booked Sheffield Utd game weeks back and have paid £14 a tkt!

Are your bracketed prices for STHs?

2019/20 season ticket holders (advanced sale only)
£12 adults
£10 over 65
£5 under 18 (Unaccompanied)
£1 under 18 (accompanied)
Free under 7

Non season ticket holders and matchday prices
£14 adults
£12 over 65
£5 under 18 (Un-accompanied)
£1 under 18 (accompanied)
Free under 7

I get that but am not an STH but was charged by the ticket office (on line) of £10.00 x 2 which is the OAP price.

I'm afraid i'm not surprised you contradicted me!  As if actually posting the details and the link from the official website was not enough, you have to come in with your "one up-manship"

You see the prices......you underpaid! I would expect you, as the conscientious supporter of the club that you are, to make up the shortfall in your payment for that entertaining spectacle last night!    Wink

Very harsh - went on line and saw the price I had to pay was £10.00. But in a moment of madness pre booked two tickets at £12.00!  Shaking with fear/anxierty I rang the office to explain my error and the very nice Lady (think it was Wendy) refunded me £4.00.  As somebody else has pointed out the online T/O cannot differentiate between STH and non STH. Pity that. Am amazed that a known cash conscious Coolie paid £14.00 in advance. Wonder if he will make the same error of judgement again? Discuss if you wish Cool

Yeah, 7:30pm on a weekday.

Some people work shifts, at short notice, others are salaried and can't always get away from work at a reasonable time and some have to account for significant travel time to the ground on top of that.

you know what they say about assumptions evers? but then you do a pretty good job of making an A$$ of yourself on here on a daily basis  even without the assumptions Grin

Are you claiming that paying the correct price for something is "an error of judgment" if there was a cheaper (but not legitimate) option?

How do you feel about people who exploit loopholes (legally) to pay less tax for example?

Similar scenario isn't it?  Wink

Bottom line is, you have claimed a cheaper ticket than you were entitled to....whether by fair means or foul. Coolie paid the correct price, so fair play to him!

I merely purchased two tickets on Monday via the web site and ended up with two OAP tkts albeit at the wrong price. As for people exploiting loopholes that is an entirely a different scenario - its a premeditated action for a start!  Gone on line  to check the online status of MK Dons ticket and yes my price should have been £12.00! Forwhatever the reason the Ticket Office gave me a refund. However I will refund back the £2.00 on both tickets. Clearly aithough my status of a ST was never discussed the Ticket Office assumed I was a STH!
I never intentionally claimed cheaper tickets and under the circumstances please withdraw you accusation that I did so.

In mitigation, looking at all of their attacking options it’s surprising that Bruce left for Newcastle. Also, take 3 of the better players out of any team and they will struggle (he says clutching at straws).

Surprised to learn that they are 25/1 top 6 with some bookies.

Can I just point out that I have software that allows me to listen to the Cobblers anywhere anytime for free. Despite this I still buy ifollow on general principle. Therefore if there is any shinanigans in getting cheap tickets (and I’m not saying there is) people should follow my lead and do the right thing as I am an absolute hero.
