Is that true ?
I did not see that coming . I see a few penalties conceded if he’s playing in that position.

Yup - he's been bought in as a defensive option apparently... https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/burton/how-john-joe-otoole-impressed-3121009

Will be interesting to see how that works out.

In the League Cup last night, Jack Bridge for Carlisle, Marc Richards for Cambridge, Ian Henderson for Rochdale and Matt Crookes for Rotherham. Pre season trialist Romeo Hutton scored for Yeovil, where he's on loan from Birmingham.

All I can see is Ivan Toney for Pish and good old Luke Chambers getting a 94th minute equaliser for Ipswich. Former loanee Ollie Banks netted for Tranmere and at Colchester, Luke Norris with a pen for the home team and Marc Richards for Cambridge.

Quite a few in League One on Saturday. 2 for Ian Henderson, 1 for Simon Cox. 2 for Bayo against the P*sh whilst Ivan Toney got 1 for them. All 4 Rotherham goals were by ex Cobblers, 2 for Matt Crookes and 2 pens for Michael Smith. I cant see any others.

Michael Smith at Rotherham, Ivan Toney is now the League 1 top scorer and Ian Henderson can't be far behind after another 2 for Rochdale. In League 2, Hallam Hope, Daniel Powell, Luke Prosser, Joe Widdowson and KVV all scored.

Toney has 10 goals for Posh this season, Henderson has 8.

Hendo scored his 100th league goal for Rochdale  in just his 266th appearance. Consistently impressive for the Dale. He left us 10 years ago now, having failed to score in 33 appearances! Since then he's banged in 145 goals for other clubs!
