.....Just hoping for a glimmer of intelligent discussion. Bit of a long shot.

What do you expect? It has never been or ever will be the equivalent of the Oxford Uni Debating Society. When in Rome do as the Romans do?

I have suddenly realised the best role for Hoskins as our past 11 managers have been determined to keep him involved. Most on here seem to agree his one strength is speed. Bung him in the Clarence bag and enter him for the annual mascot grand national.

Well, KC tinkers again, but Hoskins remains in the team.
Feel for Warburton, who whilst he was quiet on Saturday, has been the one player who has offered anything creative.
The back three of Goode, Wharton and Turnbull did not work on Saturday ..... So interesting to see if KC perseveres, or goes to a back four with Turnbull possibly being a defensive midfielder.

To be fair , he is giving everyone a chance .
The players he has brought in haven’t really performed yet and he has dropped them . The only thing he hasn’t resorted to is youth .

So Curle gets rid of one of his two goal scoring strikers to the SPL for a fee and we are left to watch Hoskins run around and around and around.
Good luck Junior wish you all the best Curle is a clueless c***.

St Mirren obviously couldn't afford Hoskins ! Why would we want to keep a player who makes an impact ?

We didn't get to see much but when we did I liked what I saw. He's short, stocky and quite skilful with a reasonable amount of pace. He's not got electric pace or anything, but he's quicker than he looks like he should be! Most importantly, he knows where the goal is.

Personally, I'm sorry to see him go and I think he'll get you a fair few goals in the SPL.

Short, stocky, tenacious forward. Good at holding up the ball, bringing others into play and is a natural goal-scorer. He's at his best when he's playing off a strike partner or in 'the hole' behind a target man. He always gives his all and has a great attitude, I imagine your fans may take to him. I wish we had kept him and will be following how he does for you.

As an aside, has Sam Foley featured for you yet? How is he doing if he has?

Have never agreed with the Hoskins v Morias debate as they offer different things, but I'm also sorry to see Morias go. He has never been given an extended run in the team but in most cases we looked more of a threat when he played and he scored goals regularly when on the pitch. Good luck to him!
