KC bemoaned that after 20 minutes we stopped playing the ball to Adams. Maybe that is because teams know our only tactic and cut off the supply! Therefore why can we not create opportunities on other parts of the pitch? Again we have no pace on the left or an attacking left footed player (maybe Bunney). We do not see a midfielder take a **** and go past the centre forward anticipating a knock on. The 63rd minute before a 'timid' shot is on target is NOT acceptable!
AND do NOT get me started on the total inability of Hoskins to create or score PLUS Smith will NOT get 15+ goals, so where does Curle expect the goals to come from?
PLUS why sign players like Lines if you are going to miss the midfield out totally?
PLUS..........................!!!!!!!!!!

Adams is our only attacking option. We then rely on a header from his crosses. Today, Adams was awful as well except for his free kick . Furthermore , how on earth did Hoskins stay on the pitch for 90 minutes ?

With Hoskins in the team we start with 10 men, with Smith we start with 9. No coincidence their winner com s from left side of their attack where Hoskins was supposedly defending

Maybe Hoskins should stop posting on Instagram every time he gets a new pair of boots that never work it’s embarrassing

Hoskins isn't the only problem but I fail to see what he offers?
It's ponderous football, predictable and easy to defend against.

Crikey, you mean he HAS a dimension. Most uninspiring chap to lead a footy team.

‘And again’’, ‘its a simple game’, ‘pass out wide to Adams and knock it in the box’, ‘players decide not to do the simple things because it isn’t working’ that sounds like a few dimensions?

This. You've summed up KC's tactical ineptitude very well. IMO this is what he needs to do ASAP: 1. Drop Hoskins for Bunney. (In the meantime move heaven and earth to find a genuine left-sided attacking midfielder, even if it's on loan) 2. Drop Smith for Williams. (Yes it was a horrendous miss yesterday, but at least he was in the right place at the right time. His career goal record - and his goal scoring record with us - is more than decent and he has the experience to lead the line.) 3. Consider going back to basics and playing 4-4-2/4-4-1-1: Cornell Goode Turnbull Wharton Martin Adams Lines McCormack/Watson/McWilliams Bunney Williams Morais/Warburton

Pete, depends what mood Everbrite is in, sometimes you can comment on the game by just watching the highlights on other occasions you are precluded in having an opinion unless you’ve attended the last 10 consecutive games!

It is not his mood that determines it, it is whether or not your opinion matches his own. If your opinion matches his, then he doesn't care what evidence you use to back it up, or even if there is any evidence. If you disagree with him then it is a completely different story and he requires that you have been to every game. If you you meet that criteria, then he will discredit you by saying that you have 'an agenda'.

Complete rubbish from both of you! I dislike the foul and abusive comments made by a few on here particularly the use of short videos to illustrate their personal dislike of NTFC staff. Now the Alien guy always ignores this POV yet all opinions are welcome. Now if people wish to follow this doubtful code of practice then that is their decision! I really hope don’t have to repeat this again. As a matter of interest and it is a genuine query - are you going to watch/support yr team at Swindon tomorrow night? In fact when did you last personally attend an away game? Please just answer the query no need for personal troll like comments. Away games are often decent fun, good atmosphere with plenty of ribald comment. You can also make a few friends too!
FFS ... in rare moments of spare time, away from this forum, are you off picking fights with yourself in telephone boxes?

Cornell Goode Turnbull Jay Wiliams Wharton Adams Lines Watson Hoskins Oliver Morais Basically 4-4-2 , Zone Marking abandoned for corners. Think Bunney not up to it. McCormack is he fit? Hall guy injured? Should give strong bench! Not impressed with Williams over 12 months. Think you are harsh on KC - it was the players who let him down as team selected was ok on paper. However he should make use of subs sooner.

Cornell
Goode Wharton Turnbull Martin
Adams Watson Lines Warburton
Morias Williams
SUBS: Oliver, Smith, J.Williams, Bunney, Pollock, Waters, Lashley
One up front isn't working for us. Adams may have played RWB with Bury but with our personnel he is wasted there. He had a decent game against Walsall when he was covered by Hall-Johnson also, so back to a standard back 4 for me.
A second option could be this:
Cornell
Goode J.Williams Wharton Martin
Lines Turnbull
Adams Warburton Morias
Oliver
SUBS: A.Williams, Smith, Watson, Bunney, Pollock, Waters, Lashley
We need another couple of signings in over the next fortnight (AM, LW, preferably a second RB also, possibly loans?) and a few players to return from injury and we could still be shaping up pretty well this season IMO.

I'd really like to see Bunney play in front of Martin. That way he doesn't need to worry about defending and Martin doesn't have to get a nose bleed.
