I am hoping things are going to improve tonight, If not the moaning will get unbearable. I was always expecting a slow start due to the influx of players, but I want to see evidence that KC knows what his best 11 is.

On the assumption that McCormack is not fit then I would move Turbull into midfield as the holding player. Start both Bunney and Adams wide and start Andy Williams.

either :

                                          Cornell

                          Goode  Wharton J.Williams

                 Adams     Mcwilliams      Turnbull       Bunney
                               Lines           Warburton
                                      A.Williams

I feel this would allow for quality deliveries into the Box, decent support from midfield for Williams and competent cover for the wingbacks from midfield.

Or

                                        Cornell

                               Goode Wharton J.Williams
                                         Turnbull
                 Adams     Lines         Mcwilliams       Bunney
                                     Warburton
                                      A.Williams

We really need points on the board and a goals from open play to settle the nerves amongst supporters.

A nice day down here, in contrast to last season at Swindon, where it pissed it down for most of the day!
Keshi Anderson brace?
I'd play Warburton right up top, sure he was an in the box goal poacher at Stockport!

This will be a test of the squad’s character. Curle says he has a different type of player mentally in this season - just like Austin and JED said prior to him . Well let’s see .
If we buckle down and do the simple things right then fine we could turn a corner . If not ... we could be bottom by mid September or before .

Keith will go ultra defensive and stick one up front.

I think you're right (for once).

He will want to grind out at least a draw at all costs, which probably means a 5-4-1 formation.

It will be very interesting to see who he goes with up front. He's said he wants more from Smith and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes way for Oliver.

Elsewhere I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps it pretty much the same with the possible exception  of swapping the experience of Lines for Watson/McWilliams.

Anyone know how close McCormack is to being fit?

One thing is for sure the free scoring Hoskins will be the first name on the team sheet  Tongue

Prediction 2-0 Swindon.
I think we'll get a player sent off as well.

I hope Bunney can handle Isgrove.

Both Bunney and isgrove are left sided so they shouldn’t be in direct competition - it could be anyone at right back/right wing back for us.

I think we might nick this one by the odd goal. Andy Williams to score.
