The standard has finally been set. That was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

Fantastic result and performance today, such a joy to watch. Everybody played well , the high pressing, high tempo, worked a treat and we really looked a good side today. Play like this at home and grind out points away from home and we will soon move up this league. Well done KC and the players, a result to be proud of, long may it continue.

Outstanding performance, with many mom contenders. Turnbull looked at a different level today against good opposition.
If Waters puts that chance away Hoskins would have four assists to his name!!

Great result and those of you there seem very satisfied.

I only saw the highlights. Based on those alone it should have been three all. They missed two absolute sitters.

Not moaning, far from it, just saying how highlights can give a very different view!

I predicted a 3-2 attack minded win and I was close. Such a good performance from start to finish, every player playing their part. Need to replicate this standard now and keep the anti-Curle brigade at bay.
One win doesn't make a season and let's not get carried away and mention the 'p' word like Tim Oglethorpe did. One game at a time and all that.

Cobblers sublime, from beginning to end - even Hoskins and again, Cornell!
For the several arrogant Plymouth knobs who on their forum predicted a 'regulatory win'...😂 Grin

They did miss a couple but Adams hit the post from a free kick and Waters and Bunney had equally good chances. Great performance & right result

Who were Adams and Bunney so unhappy with towards the end of the highlights where Plymouth nearly scored? Couldn't work it out.

Not sure there's a real togetherness in this team yet. But a great result and a better performance.

Thought Bunney played well along with an outstanding save from Cornell off that Cooper. It seems to me that all the players that are arguably under the microscope put in a performance? And all followed by Bernie Keith’s Rock and Roll Heaven. Do Saturdays get any better?

Anyone else notice the timing of the first goal yesterday.  At 19 minutes we had the 1 minutes applause for the young supporter that sadly left us this week (nice to see the Plymouth fans applauding too) - then within 30 seconds we went 1-0 up...

I think we went 2-1 up shortly after the applause.

Anyone notice the flock of starlings, circling and then landing on the floodlight pylon? The starlings are back, we are going to be OK.

An impressive performance.  The side needs to maintain that commitment week in, week out and then we might be at the right end of the table.  Yesterday was the first time in ages I saw our midfield dominating a game.  More of the same at Bradford needed and onwards from there. It is all about consistency.

Just a couple of points - Bunney is a left sided midfielder, not a full back.  Play him in is natural position or replace him.  I did notice that Plymouth were getting behind us on the right a lot in the second half.  I am not sure if was down to McWilliams or a lack of cover in front of him.

Bunny looked a different player, playing in an advanced position, and Joe Martin looked a lot more assure too.

Re our right side, we saw Ryan Lowe signalling "two" and pointing to the side. After that Plymouth started overlapping, and McWilliams was left a bit exposed, and needing a bit more support at times

Those of you who caught the Northants v Worcester Friday night Blast and yesterday's Cobblers performance will have had one hell of a weekend. It doesn't get much better than this. Peterborough on Tuesday ?
