NTFC have signed Egli Kaja on a contract until January after he was released by AFC Wimbledon in the summer.

He can play on either wing or as a second striker and apparently has plenty of pace.

Welcome Egli and good luck.

Made two league starts for Livingston last season, the last of which was on 11th August (a further four appearances from the bench)

Was recalled by AFC Wimbledon from a season long loan spell but never went on to play for the Wombles during the remainder of the season.

Don't know whether to laugh or be excited......on the one hand we have a pacy winger in the squad now, albeit one who hasn't started a game in over a year.....on the other hand this guy couldn't establish himself in the team where Hakeem O'Doffin ended up!

Honestly is this some kind of joke, wasn’t good enough for an AFC Wimbledon side that avoided relegation on the last day and has now been released and still no one wanted him, is this what it’s come to?

Probably tomorrow night given he's been training with us for a couple of weeks. Did anyone see him at that open training session last week (or sometime recently) ?

This new winger is 1.77m - so hope he has low centre of gravity... something like that! Remember when we signed Tommy Robson all those years ago written off within minutes of signing. He was quick tho' - not always in the right direction. Don't worry chaps Feely has good feelings about this player.

He's a good age at 22, still learning his trade, but has the one thing we are really missing badly, pace.Just because he didn't do it for the wombles, doesn't mean he won't shine here, give the lad a chance, he could be our next cult hero.

Holmes was in and out with injuries whilst at Pompey, Pompey and their fans knew of his ability, the club thought that he wasn't reliable enough for them and decided to offload him.
He didn't start playing in the league for us until December in our promotion season after a couple of games in early August. We were fortunate that his period of sustained fitness coincided with the second half of that season.
